Giant Red Poppy Papaver Somniferum Premium Seeds for Planting Packet

These seeds need time in a cold environment to germinate. The first two packs I tried to rush, and I went with the ice cube method I found online. They did not sprout. The seeds I put in a damp paper towel in the spare fridge. They did sprout. I gently moved them to the garden. I'm not sure if they'll take it, so I ordered another pack. I'll keep trying until I get it right.

Not a single one germinated

So far based on germination rate I’m excited. These poppy seeds sprouted pretty evenly after 5-days refrigeration. I used simple peat seed starters, full spectrum LED at 3-inch height, and most germinated in first 3-4 days. No telling how big the poppy stalks will be but I’m guessing these will be healthy enough and large enough to make dried pods for arrangements or maybe even baking.

I started these indoors and they germinated immediately (within 2 days). I was surprised. As soon as I planted them outside they died, but that’s a me problem. I must have done something wrong. Not only would I buy again, I did buy again. Good quality seeds. It’s not their fault I murdered them.

I garden and it's one of my flowers.I bought two other flowers from Amazon that arrived on time. This order started 5 hours from my house but took forever to arrive. No billing receipt in envelope. Whats up with that? Other company had 300 seeds. This company maybe 40 seeds. Hope they germinate!

Good quality packaging. Not much to say. Bought em late in the season. Poppy are pretty hardy and I actually plan to plant them on a hillside so I have less mowing and they seem to come back well with the others I have planted.

Germinated then disappeared and I did the whole put the in freezer thing first.

These do not grow. They are dead seeds. Caution.
