As I get up there in age, lately I've been thinking, I don't have much to remember my family. Mostly some old low quality pictures. No ones fault, technology was just not there years ago. Not like it is now. So I've been on a mission to start preserving family and memories for my kids, grand kids and maybe even great grands, ect. Month or so ago I bought the DJI Mini 2 drone and was just blown away by it's quality and features. I noticed DJI had this camera and I knew I could count on it being very good. And it is. So good. I am no photography expert, so not going to say it's the best or anything. But for me, for preserving family memories it's just incredible. I love how small and light weight this camera is. Fits in your hand, you could even put it in your pocket. Power it on, push the record button and you are in business. So easy to use! So far it's had great stabilization. Perfect point and record camera. The video this takes is fantastic. We've been playing the videos on our 65" 4K bravia tv and it's an awesome. Looks so good with great colors and clarity. Could not be happier. I have not learned all it can do, so really excited to discover all the features. I only have one very small negative, though not totally a negative. I find the do all handle very difficult to take off. But for me it's a good permanent attachment and rarely have any reasons to take it off. I also wish the battery life was better, but it is recording 4K. And there are power bank attachments. One tip... if you do buy this camera, be sure to get the thumb wheel attachment, it is SO much better than the default toggle and it adds more functions right at your finger tips. If you are on the fence with one, get it, you won't be sorry. Highly recommend.

At first I was concerned about the activation as another reviewer wrote. I don't like what they ask either but lets get along now. I used this and love using it. With my iPhone 12 Pro Max it is the total package. By itself it is more top heavy to use, but I still enjoy it without my phone. The wireless mic haven't tried it yet, but may where the applications calls for it. I look even for this to be a camera for my Panasonic AG-UX90 professional camcorder. It can mount on my cold shoe, as I get a static shot with the camcorder I can pan and get 2nd perspective shots and merge in post. I have never seen such a wonderful device so small be so big on image and video quality. It gives my Sony a6400 during the day a run for its money. Even my Panasonic is kept honest. During low light is where this camera will falter. Physics folks. But still for on the go, and impromptu video and photography, best camera I have ever seen. Saw a YouTube presenter give one to his kid to learn with. Awesome gift for creating as he grows, this camera continues to entertain for him. More than a smartphone, smaller than anything else, and better than an action camera given its purpose of use. I can't get over how good the audio is too. Wtih 4 mics this thing sounds better than it should. Does it sound better than my iPhone? Maybe, or not, but still unexpected pleasure there too. Some don't even bother with the wireless mic. I love that tripod made of metal and the clever fold out design. The case is genius too keeping it all together in my pants or shirt or coat pocket or backpack. I recommend this for anyone who want to have fun with video and pics. It can't be beat. I have a laugh every time I use it. It just looks like hand held E.T. and makes fun and good video. The gimbal function is tops too. Buy one, just get the regular, most won't need the creators package, but the wifi and wireless mic are nice to have just not a must have for most.

Good picture and good audio. 👍 The Pocket 1 had weak audio. The recording volume on it was a little low. This one is much better. 🤗 Picture quality is good and it's a little better in low light or at night with the exposure. The sharpness is ok. Face tracking is much better. It finds the face and centers it better. Loss of FT is less than before. Recovery of FT is better. Settings are changeable on the camera without the app. There might be 1 or 2 but I don't think so. The app. It's less intrusive than before. It only needs location and storage or camera. But they might be sneaky about it as they require you to agree to their terms. This time send reports or data send is off from out of the box. At least mine was. Hooking up to the app was faster and smoother this time. Literally took a couple of seconds. Could be because I already had an account. I didn't get any FW update notices or FW updates. Already came with the new one. The accessories are cool and good quality. The mini tripod is nice. The external mic is pretty cool BUT it's a little on the low side. You have to hold it pretty close to your mouth for good audio. They need to update the mic recording level. I bumped up the audio on both the external mic to 20dbs and up on the on board mics. The onboard microphones are better than the external mic. Its louder. The quality may be slightly better. Still though it's pretty cool they have a wireless external mic with this. The adapter is way smoother than the plug adapter you had to use with the original pocket. Cleaner look. Tripod screws everywhere. 🙂 A piece you can attach to the pocket 2 one on the extension piece and one on the case. No more rubber strap. The case holds the camera snuggly with or without the wide angle lens. Another cool add on that I purchased for the original pocket. POV is much better than the pocket 1 with or without the WAL. The magnet could be slightly stronger. I lost it once. Another cool thing is the connector pieces the usb c and lightening and wide angle lens fit inside the case. Theres slots for them. 😮 What needs improvement? Well the mic level on the external mic. The battery goes fast on the camera. The mic lasts a little bit longer. You might be able to squeeze 90min of straight recording. Recording doing shorter clips adjusting reviewing flipping back n forth in an hour you'll have maybe 30% left. Give or take. The magnet on the WAL needs to be a little stronger. The thumb stick needs to be just a tad stiffer as I find I'm pressing down when I'm just trying to move the directional. The price 😳 $500 plus about $30 in tax yikes. You gotta think about it. Overall I like it. It's better than the first one but still needs some minor tweaks and they can add some things. Throw in a lav mic. Those don't cost too much. Make it to where you can 2 external mics connected. Increase battery life and maybe put in an extended battery in that mic adapter. 😊 I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the high price and audio level on the external mic. Oh and uh the wind screen dead bug is really lose on the external mic. You can easily knock it off. For some thoughts and samples ... YouTube. 😎

So this is a device made by a company that wants to data mine you. I preordered this and was pretty excited to get it because of everything iv read about the first one. I got the device today and set it up, it was not working correctly and I found out you pretty much have to connect it to your phone or you can only use this device 5 times. Yes, they give you a limit to the amount of times you can use a device you paid for. I bought the bundle for 500 dollars and im only allowed to use this device 5 times unless I connect it to my smart phone... okay that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So once I downloaded the app which is poorly reviewed which you will see on the app store you will see great amount of people who are struggling with the horrible app you are FORCED to use in order to take the 5 time limit away. Well I downloaded the app and then it wanted all of my information EVERYTHING which I said no to and then it just wont let me use the app, it then asks for your location... okay why are you needing my GPS? I am using a video camera that stabilizes …. not liking this one bit. Once I said no to those options it will say you can't use the app, and just keep asking you to accept. Yep, and there is no way around this that I found. Went to the DJI store forums and people are complaining about this exact problem. I understand if this was a drone and you gotta track it but this is a CAMERA that I CARRY AROUND. This company is one that just wants to raid your information and sell it for a quick buck. Seriously DJI you are horrible and you really should fix this problem. Until then this review will stick.

El micrófono inalámbrico se escucha muy bien. Incluso la cámara cambia fácilmente de adelante hacia atrás. Es una muy buena inversión. Si tienes duda de adquirir este producto está es tu señal. Respecto al envío todo bien. Llegó a tiempo y sin mayor percance.

I bought this camera for my YouTube channel Rishank Ponnanna. I have a Sony A6000 with a dji ronin sc setup which is quite heavy to carry around for vlogging and other needs. I won't compare the quality between the two as that's a Mirror less camera with a 30k lens attached to it but this tiny monster is amazing in its own way. Its super tiny and easy to carry. No one really notices it so vlogging is very easy. I've not yet transferred the footages to my computer as I got it today and shot my vlog today, but the video will go up on my channel soon, so you can watch it there. The wide angle helps take some great shots and the pro mode is fabulous as well. It struggles during low light but it didn't bother me much because of how small and easy to carry and use it is. One other review spoke about how they couldn't activate the product with a galaxy note 10+, I have the same phone and I downloaded the mimo app from the dji website and the app detected the pocket 2 but I wasn't getting the activation code on the camera itself. So I skipped it and once I was in the camera screen, again connected my phone and sent a activation request and the camera showed it on the screen and I accepted it and the product was activated successfully. After that everything was a breeze. Supee simple to use, charges up quick but battery drains fast as well. You need an extented battery pack for long vlogs. I don't have complains on the battery life as I can understand because of the form factor. Overall, I love this tiny monster and its worth every penny. I got it for 40.8k. Hope this helps.

A couple of years on from buying this item i still use it even though i upgraded to a Hero GoPro. The reason for that was that the Pocket 2 tends to drift while filming and follows things around it instead of aiming straight ahead. No idea if others suffer this? While in Spain earlier in the year i was doing a vlog video, but halfway through realised it had randomly pointed straight up into the sky, which rendered the whole video i filmed useless. Don't get me wrong, the video quality is solid, along with the steadiness via the gimbal; it's just the random drift here and there.

I bought this "Used-Very Good" and it arrived in original packaging. All parts of the Creator Combo were included, no missing items. Only the camera had been opened, and it was unmarked as far as I can see. Because it was used it was also activated, so I guess if that bothers you it's one way around it. I already have a DJI account and it's not a problem for me. The camera is great, especially at the price I paid. I already have the original Osmo Pocket so I knew what to expect, and I am very happy with the upgrades and the extra parts in the combo. The sound is really good, and excellent with the external mic. The wide angle lens add-on fits perfectly and it very sharp. The mini tripod is a great design and really handy. The do-it-all handle connected immediately to the camera and works really well; in fact for me it makes the whole thing fit very well in my male hands. The tripod mount is useful, but I probably won't use it as long as I have the do-it-all handle on board. If you are having trouble removing the little tripod mount cover use the tripod as a lever to remove it. Picture quality is very good. Low light works well, certainly better than the Pocket 1. 64MP stills camera is very good, and the overall quality is well-made and good quality materials. Based on my experience so far, I can happily recommend this.
