Pretty black case. Durable is indeed and protections from any angles and back is indeed good guard. Battery holding is pretty good. I wanted to take a moment to mention the issues regarding the battery stopped holding or won’t charge with the max capacity; I can’t charge mine to max 4th light, it won’t go all night long. The issue was the night before I used it till the last one light was empty, I knew it might triggered this issue, I noticed. It won’t be matter, but it does for most rechargeable chases. Here the tip to fix it: loose your phone from the case completely or just loose it out from the charging connector. Then hold the case power and count it to 10-15 second, and release your hand. After that, push your phone to back in well, and press and hold the case power to charge for 3-5 second. Then plug with wall-charger adaptor. I am sure it will reset the case power and will works like before. I hope it could help someone reading it. Case needs somehow a different colors also made material. This one is a bit slippery in hand. Other that that, it is still pretty good case. I will write more in the future as I have been using it. Peace guys.

Grap one for the misses and me for those long days when we travel and can’t charge are phones good protection easy to grip comes with the screen protector but I didn’t like it appearance and there are grips on the sides so it doesn’t slip out your hand if you have a cordless charger it works with that as well great value for the money

I had high hopes. Holds the phone tight, and I nlike others, has a raised edge on front to protect the screen, a little extra around the rear camera for protection there. Very grippy, easy to hold, and not too bulky or thick. So, the case as a “case” isn’t bad at all. However, as a charging device / backup battery…. This sucks. Went through reviews and I’m not the only one. Never stays on and won’t fully charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Once turned on, the Alpatronix charges some for about 10 minutes or so, but stops for no reason or warning. Still plenty of battery. Turn back on, will charge 10% sometimes 20% and stop again. Over and over, it just won’t charge the phone. Only a little here and there. This is unbelievably frustrating. I also ordered a Mophie, Runsy, and MaxBear to compare and use in various locations. None of those really hold the iPhone 12 Pro Max quite as well as the Alpatronix, and don’t have the raised edges I like, but at least when those are on, they stay on until the phone is charged or I turn them off. I am too disappointed to want a replacement as Indont feel it would be any better. There are so many other reviews saying theirs do the same thing. I may truly and exchange it. Or not…. I am keeping the Runsy, Mophie, and MaxBear to leave in my work vehicles and computer bag. At least I know they will give me a full charge without having to babysit the power button. At the time of this review, I have had all four cases just over a week, and have used all four each day to compare. The Alpatronix is my least favorite charging device, but favorite case.

I call it, the "Brick." It's pretty heavy but VERY durable. I feel over on my bike going maybe 15mph and it acted as my landing pad with only some scratches to the case and no phone damage. Only downside that REALLY SUCKS is that the charging port is missing the plastic on the other side of the contacts so when I try to charge it wired it just disconnects! But it did save my thighs so that may have a part in the damage. Wireless charging works at least but the magnet is almost non-existant.

Product showed up very fast with Amazon Prime order. Battery was almost fully charged. Case has texture to have a non-slip feeling. Fit is very good and snug. Weight is OK, to me anyways, and it gives the feeling of holding something rather than feeling like your always going to drop it. I put my phone in my front pocket and it feels thin and comfortably stays in place. I bought Alpatronix Qi charging pad and it picks up and notices charge fine. At first before installing the tempered glass screen protector I thought it maybe felt a little cheap and like plastic but after I got it installed it has a very good feel to the glass. There were no instructions on installing the protector so from doing these before I just used process of elimination. I first took the phone out of the case, cleaned the screen with the supplied wet nap, then cleaned with the supplied dry wipe. I then returned the phone to the case to use for alignment, cleaned the surface once more, wet then dry. Next I used the supplied blue sticky tap and went across the whole surface up and down to remove any lint. Peeled the cover off the screen protector that says remove, carefully holding the edges as to not get any oils or debris on surface. I then placed the lens inside the beveled edge of the case starting at the top and laid the protective lens in place and started with pressure from the middle out working my way to the bottom. After it looked adhered well I pulled the phone from the case and went over the whole surface again using mild pressure making sure there were no air bubbles. Worked perfect. The one small issue I have is the tactile buttons are very firm to press in. This is not that big of deal to me but to some it might be. I look at it as maybe a design feature to keep from the buttons being to easy to press when you don't want it to be. I had previously used Mophie Juice pack as my go to for battery case and was satisfied with there product but they told me they were not making the Juice pack anymore so they lost me on the extra battery back-up case. So far I am happy with the switch to Alpatronix. I have only had this product for a few days so I will try and update later after I get some time and use with it.

Out of the box the case worked great would charge my phone about twice. Took a drop here and there. But after about two month the charge port is getting picky. It’ll charge the case battery but not the phone and sometimes the case takes hours to charge now. The wireless charger would work for about 30 seconds then fault out any of my wireless chargers.

As with my last battery case I bought for my iPhone 7 Plus, this one is equally impressive. It allows for wireless charging this time around with the iPhone 12 series. The design is a clever mix of case and a thermoplastic flexible rubber so installation and removal of your phone is easy. The lip on the face side is raised slightly to help protect your screen. These cases have saved my iPhone 7 Plus from bumps and scratches as well as having the added bonus of giving me a recharge when I need it. You never want to go back to a standard case! I had a problem with a replacement case for my iPhone 7 Plus when I got nearly 4 years of daily use from my original. That one finally got too weak to charge very much.. I bought the new one off eBay, but unfortunately the charge was only capable up-to 87% . Alpatronix sent me a new one with no issue! Replacement was fine Very happy with the company, and their products! As with the iPhone 7 Plus back in 2017, Alpatronix was one of the first cases out of the gate during release of the new IPhone 12, IPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max. Highly recommend! ————————— Update! 3/26/21 The case died suddenly, and I contacted Alpatronix to yet again another smooth experience. My case apparently had a bad control chip that couldn’t be simply repaired and they sent me a new one. Added bonus? They upped my warranty to 2 years, and actually improved the case button design! The earlier version I bought had some pretty hard to press volume and power buttons. This was remedied! Now I can say the case is perfect! Very happy!

I previously purchased an Alpatronix case for my Xr. While it was a durable case with a great battery, that was a two-piece case with more fragile hard buttons that weren't integrated into the case, causing long-term durability issues. Alpatronix knocked it out of the park with this case, fixing any previous design flaws to make a stand-out case. This is a one piece design with rubberized integrated buttons, creating no concerns for long-term durability. The phone case itself adds a bit of heft and bulk, but that's to be expected on a phone that's already pretty darn large. The case does not prevent the phone being put in jeans/shorts/pants pockets. Otherwise the additional battery is a godsend because the 5G-hungry12 Pro Max eats up a lot of battery with normal use throughout the day. I appreciate the Alpatronix case charging my phone from 25% to 50% in about 20 minutes. I can certainly get another full 100% charge out of this case. I appreciate the wireless charging capability of this phone as well; it works great on my wireless pad both in my office and in my car. The only downside I can find is that the phone has Carplay connectivity issues when plugging into a cable in a car; the passthrough keeps disconnecting Carplay only seconds after it activates. However, because I rarely use the cable, it doesn't really affect me. Overall, I'm impressed in Alpatronix's commitment to improve past iterations and I'm very glad that I got this case!
