A beautifully restored version of White Christmas. The colors, the resolution, the sound, all top notch.

We brought this to our neighbor's house, because they have a 4K player. It's like watching a brand new movie. The lush colors and detail are breathtaking--you see things you don't see with a regular DVD. I wonder if moviegoers saw so much color and detail when this was shown in the movie theaters. The soundtrack is also cleaner and clearer; it's such a pleasure to hear these Irving Berlin songs with such clarity. If you want to see an old classic look new again, buy this version of "White Christmas." There's also a lot of nice extras that are included. For the ultimate viewing experience of this Christmas classic, we highly recommend the 4K disc.

4K UHD: I was amazed by the picture quality in 4K UHD; it was extraordinary. Some scenes were so vivid that they seemed three-dimensional. This was the best 4K UHD transfer of the movies I have bought. "White Christmas" is one of my favorite holiday films. Perhaps this is because I had a military career and spent time in a war zone during the holidays. Regardless, it is a good movie with an emotional core that revolves around former army men doing something nice for their former commander. The film's opening scenes, where the men watch Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye perform during combat, are heart-wrenching. Unless someone has been in that situation, it isn't easy to understand the profound impact of being away from home and family during such times. The strain on the men's faces is palpable, making one wonder if some of the extras were actual veterans who experienced this during World War II. This film is set ten years after the end of World War II and was made for those who lived through it. Many have compared it to the earlier film "Holiday Inn" due to their similar plots. However, "White Christmas" distinguishes itself by focusing on military veterans and their determination to support their former commander, Major General Waverly, who runs an inn in Vermont. Unfortunately, the inn struggles to attract guests because of unusually warm weather. To help, the veterans decide to put on a show there. The movie features various ups and downs related to the show's production, many musical numbers, and a romantic subplot involving Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney. Rosemary Clooney is an incredible talent, and many people do not know that she sang both parts in the famous “Sisters” number. Vera-Ellen, while a fantastic dancer, did not have a singing voice. Clooney and another singer dubbed her singing parts. However, Vera-Ellen showcased her exceptional dancing skills in two numbers: "Mandy" and "Choreography." Another interesting fact is that George Chakiris was one of the chorus boy dancers performing alongside Clooney and Ellen. He later gained fame as Bernardo in the 1961 film West Side Story, where he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Rita Moreno, who played Anita in the same movie, won Best Supporting Actress. I highly recommend watching White Christmas, which is often undervalued and overlooked as a holiday movie. It truly delivers on many levels.

This is a great movie and it's my favorite Christmas 🎄 movie along with Miracle On 34th Street Santa Claus The Movie Ernest Saves Christmas The Polar Express Meet Me In St Louis among others. This one however usually starts the Christmas 🎄 season out especially with Bing singing White Christmas 🎄 not to mention Bing Crosby Danny Kaye Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen singing White Christmas àt the end. Those two scenes alone do it for me although I love the entire movie. You should get this. Merry Christmas.

Love the options of Blu-ray or 4K UHD. This movie is still very nice. The music sound and color is good

Outstanding quality of picture-sound ( though I am Deaf others truly enjoy the sound quality!) Admirable closed captioning throughout ! A definite value and true gem to place in one’s DVD library.

This is such a good movie! Basically, I am trying to make sure I have DVDs and Blu-ray of all my favorite movies because I don’t like having things only digital. There’s too much risk of not being able to have it in the future.

Love this movie. I watch it every year, so it’s worth owning my own copy instead of relying on streaming services. Quality is fine too.

One of the biggest selling xmas movies of all time featuring the equally famous song White Christmas. Starring two of the greats from that era Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye and filmed in technicolor this all time great should be watched every xmas. The 4k transfer is absolutely beautiful.

Growing up most of us have seen White Christmas numerous times. For my age group many saw it on maybe 19 inch to 26 inch tube t.v.s as kids into adulthood. For myself my real appreciation for this movie has come in recent years by seeing it on large screen t.v.s through cable. But to see it on Blu Ray only makes it much more enjoyable. White Christmas is an iconic movie for the Holidays. The cinematography, the acting, musical scores and incredible dancing is superlative. The mood of the era 1954 makes one long to live that era. To be apart of the story. This movie has become along with It's a Wonderfull Life my two favorite Christmas movies. If you want an exquisite copy of one of the most colorful, eye-catching Christmas movies, then pick up this Blu Ray.
