Old Country Roses Modern Mug

Beautiful!!

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for a family member who owns a full set of Royal Albert china, and she absolutely loves this coffee mug. It has held up very well to daily use and has even survived accidental trips through the dishwasher on more than one occasion. I do wish it weren’t quite so pricey, but it is fine china, so that’s to be expected. It also arrived in very protective packaging—I was genuinely impressed with the level of care taken during shipping.

I like the red roses series. This one is beautiful and more suitable for everyday use.

This is good size to put 8 fl oz of tea, coffee, etc. You could put 10 fl oz if you try but you would spill it when you walk with it. There are some decoration with gold. It is an actual gold (metal) so you cannot put in a microwave. It will start fire!!

This is one of my most used mug in my collection. I like the spacious opening/mouth of the cup. It's simple built yet elegantly designed. A must have for Royal Albert colllectors.

I collect Royal Albert Old Country Roses products. That is to say they are forever must have. These were a gift to a friend who likes them as much as I do.

This is the pattern I used to have, as this is a gift for my Daughter, I thought a modern style would be perfect. Love it!

This time it came with a gift box. This mug is made in China. It’s slightly wider than the regular mug but shorter and thinner. A pleasant surprise given the Royal Doulton one I bought earlier was evidently thick porcelain. The spoon in the photo was purchased separately.

This is a very interesting addition to the Royal Albert collection and is a classic suitable gift for many occasions.

i like the style i bought them to go with my late mothers birthday gift to me.
