HO….LY….CRrrrrrapppp! This thing works! I have the biggest, smartest, yet dumbest doodle ever. She’s a puppy (only 8 months old) but she’s Huuuuge! So the normal bad puppy behaviors are multiplied exponentially! Take for instance the nice gate we have to keep her out of the living room. She hurdles that thing like Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone! She’s the one we WANT to keep out of the room but she jumps over the dang thing without even touching it! Enter….the Pet Corrector….dun dun dun! ONE TIME PEOPLE! I sprayed that thing one time before she stopped jumping the thing! Had I known it was going to work so well, I would have recorded the first time I used it! Now, she stands behind the gate or just at the gate waiting for us! I NEVER thought she would listen! This little bottle is a miracle worker! I’ve also used it when the dogs were barking from their cages upstairs. I sprayed it in the stairwell leading up to the room and 💥 they stopped barking! Another example: River the idiot and my little dog Auggie always make a run for it when we come in the back gate. I’ve chased their butts down the block too many times. I put this little guy in my purse and blasted it just outside the gate and say “step the fluff back!” and they step back instantly! Now, of course it doesn’t last long. It’s a tiny canister. I got the small one to start off just to see if it would work. I didn’t expect it to last long. I’ve used about 15-20 blasts and I’m still going. I just use short blasts though. I don’t lay on it. I WILL be getting a bigger can! If it works for my big idiot dog River, it’s bound to work for all dogs!!! Try it!!!

I own a 2 year old pit mix that is very sweet but has anxiety and tends to be easily excited. She is very strong and walking her on a leash used to be a nightmare. New people walking into my place used to result in constant jumping. I was working with a trainer who helped me start to use a sort of low growl as a correction for getting in my personal space, approaching people without being invited, and leash pulling. It worked great, but it was hard to be consistent with the sound, and every time I tried to convince strangers to do it so she wouldn’t jump, they’d look at me like I had three heads. I try to hide the spray bottle and spray towards her direction but not directly at her if she’s doing the wrong thing, and make sure to give her lots of praise when she’s doing the right thing. It’s important to praise correct behaviors if you’re going to use this as a correction so you don’t wind up just making your dog fearful. I do recommend reading on training before using this spray, but if you know what you’re doing, it’s a lifesaver! I went from having a dog literally knocked me over when I was walking her every time another dog passed, to having a dog who looks at me calmly when a dog walks by as if to ask “can I go say hi”? I barely use the spray anymore - if it’s not on hand, I make a short hissing sound and she knows right away that she’s getting a correction. I would recommend this highly for anyone having problems with pulling or jumping on guests! It’s also great to keep near the door. One of the things we practiced was having someone ring the doorbell, I’d spray, and I can now open the door calmly without fearing she will jump on my guests. I also typically hand one to my guests who are afraid of dogs and tell them they can spray towards her but not directly at her if she comes too close or starts to lift her paws off the ground - it’s nice for easing their minds, and typically in a few minutes she’s lying at their feet asking for belly rubs, and they forget all about their fears. Amazing product if used properly! As an animal lover, I highly suggest only using this as a correction and NOT a punishment or you may make your dog fearful. I will continue to keep these all over my house, but am using them less and less as she learns.

3 stars because even though the product does what it says effectively, it’s just too much money for “air” If only a bullhorn isn’t so loud 😝

I just had this delivered today but I can write the review now because I previously bought it at a pet store (comparable price) and I am very happy with it. My little dog developed the very frustrating habit of barking at dogs furiously and frenetically when we are out for a walk. Since we live in an apartment building, we are out for a walk often, and there are many other people walking their dogs. I was seeing my neighbors crossing the street to avoid running into us because my dog turned into such a maniac. Finally, against the advice of "professionals", I got so stressed one day that I sprayed her with a spray bottle when she started barking at a dog and told her to stop. She did!!! It took just maybe one or two more incidents like that and she is now a changed dog. I would say she is "in recovery" because she still occasionally growls "under her breath" so to speak, or her body gets stiff and tense, or she does actually bark, and I now carry this product everywhere. But often she sees dogs and has no reaction at all. The spray bottle with water leaked in my pocket and is too bulky for most of my coats. This works just as well. So if she starts anything I tell her "No Barking" but if she gets out of line I shoot this in the air one time and she gets the message. It is compressed air and I DEFINITELY would not suggest aiming it at a dog because I imagine perhaps it could hurt the eyes, but the sound is startling enough to be a very good "correction" aid. Contrary to what the "experts" said, she is not traumatized and actually seems proud of herself for having gotten more manners. Five stars for this product.

With a beagle who is intent on barking at other animals, the deer who feel it is funny to stand at our back fence and stare at him, the groundhogs and rabbits who feel our yard or behind our fence is a good place to live and torture him, who enjoys to hump his bed and well, just likes being a mischievous dog this little can is a godsend. This product has been a valuable tool to us for about the past 2 years and we only wish we found it sooner. We have tried citronella collars (which would slide to the side and then spray into his ear) and the ones set off by barking would be inadvertently set off by noise or other dogs barking. We did have a collar that we used that used a high pitched sound when we pressed a button but we swore we would never do that again because it would go off on its own inadvertently and the poor dog would be running around the house without us knowing why until we figured it out. We refused to use a shock collar. This can makes a sound. It is compressed air. Sometimes all we have to say is "red can" or show him the can and he will stop. I do have to say, there are times it does not work when there is an extremely high impact target. There are two other dogs in the neighborhood that he just does not like. Nothing stops him from barking at those dogs, even the "red can" but we will take 98%. The only time we cannot use it is when other dogs are around because it would maybe scare them and we do not feel that is fair. It is available in two sizes and more economical in the larger size but when we are walking with him the smaller is much easier to slip into our pockets. We have a few around the house available when needed. I did get the box of 12 this time as the price was right. It was out of stock but was pleased that a week later I got an email that is was back in stock and being shipped out. Extremely pleased!

Pet Corrector is a MIRACLE PRODUCT!! I was totally amazed that it worked so quickly and effectively. The first week I used it only 3 times until the barking stopped.Now, all I have to do is show them the can. One looks at me with a sad face, tucks his tail and is off to the other room. --- just by seeing the can. The other dog also stops immediately when seeing the can. I tell her "No Barkies, Go outside"..---out she goes, or she stops and lays down. I have to remind them occasionally with a quick spray but not often. I'm sure they bark during the day when I'm gone, but when I return.....no "barkies" after I walk in the door. I don't use it on them outside. My neighbor's dogs have been a bad influence on my dogs.. They wouldn't bark so much outside if it weren't for their 2 dogs baiting them. I tried it on one of their dogs the other day ...She barks constantly....3 hours straight one day. Pet Corrector did not phase her...If she could I know she would say, "You're not the boss of me". I also can't be consistent with her. Not going to waste my "miracle in a can". That dog and it's sibling are a bad influence on mine. However, when inside it's a whole different story. I tried this product based on the reviews with hopeful anticipation it would be effective!! Boy, was I surprised...and satisfied!! When you have to use is so infrequently, it lasts a long time. Believe me, it is well worth the money. ! tell all my friends about it and I keep a photo on my phone so I can show them the actual product! I wish there were 10 stars for this product!

This worked remarkably well. It is NOT loud. Just a blast of air that distracts a dog from it's obnoxious behavior. We have a wonderful dog who is very obedient except when it comes to barking when someone comes to our house. He is so loud it is painful to us and the fact that he is out of reach and so fixated on the person approaching, it makes it hard to get his attention and to get him to stop. This little air blaster immediately gets his attention and breaks the bad behavior. It has been very helpful. Only four stars because I wish it lasted a bit longer...but that may or may not be because everyone in the family wanted to try it. But this is a great way to break bad behavior instead of yelling at the dog. Seriously, when he starts barking and family member start yelling at him it about shatters my eardrums. One little suggestion. I never held this out where he could see it. I wanted to not let him figure out the source simply to just keep the "mystery" and sense of curiosity which is a tool of distraction.

My trainer recommended pet corrector to help with a few problem behaviors. The product had a red cap, was easy to surreptitiously use, and did the trick. It was time to replace the item and I ordered a replacement from Amazon. The picture still showed a red cap. When the product came, it now had a blue cap and functioned entirely differently. It was so difficult to press down that I could not even do it with two hands and I assumed it was defective. I called Amazon and they promptly gave me a refund. I ordered a replacement. The replacement came and it is just as bad. It is apparently a product change that ruined the product. I wish I could find the old version with the red cap that I could do with one finger. Unless there is some secret that the manufacturer failed to note in the changed cap color, I cannot use this at all. I literally had to push with two hands to make any sound at all. It took so much time, effort, strength, and focus that the product is Essentially useless Or it’s intended purpose.

I am sorry but it’s just a spray and so expensive.. it didn’t work on my GSD puppy and persian kitten.. they both were poker faced … it might have been useful for other since so many positive reviews but not for my pets….
