Excellent, simple, tasteful, vintage-style watch.
As of this writing, I've had this watch for about 5 months and I'm extraordinarily happy with it. I'd been keeping an eye out at estate sales for a few years looking for a vintage Marlin with no luck. Santa finally agreed to get me this re-issue last Christmas. The packaging was tasteful, maybe a bit over the top for a $200 watch, but I appreciated the care that went into it; Timex is obviously proud of this product. Since then, it's kept very good time: I've really only adjusted it twice. Might get off by about a minute a month, but I haven't adjusted it in a couple of months now. The dial is a good size for small wrists and although it can be difficult to read in low light it's easy to read generally and provides an understated simplicity with its gleaming face and simple numbering. I think it looks elegant without drawing attention to itself. The leather strap has held up well; I put it on and take it off a couple of times every day and it's barely worn at all. Comfortable as well. If you're the sort that forgets to wind a watch, this one isn't for you. It takes a bit of a habitual nature to wind it every day, but if you're the type to buy a throwback wind-up watch you're probably the type that would wind it every morning before putting it on and appreciate the simple routine of it. Excellent job, Timex. You did well with this one.

Gorgeous for the price
If we're honest, no one is buying this watch for its specs other than that it's a mechanical watch. To the casual observer, it looks nicer than the price suggests. The sunburst dial is gorgeous and can appear anywhere between a warm silver and gold depending on the light. These are just a few sentences, but I can't emphasize enough what a classic looker this watch is. Pictures simply don't do it justice. I do have three very minor quibbles: 1) The strap is long. I imagine the people interested in a 34mm watch probably skew toward smaller wrists like my own 6.5" wrist, so it seems odd the strap is as long as it is. No worries though - you can buy an aftermarket strap (I got leather straps from Benchmark Basics in a few colors). The watch looks fantastic on all of them, and having extra straps makes it far more versatile. 2) The movement is a tad loud but only noticeable if you know what to listen for, which most people won't. It comes with the territory of a mechanical watch with a no-name movement in this price range so I can't be too harsh. 3) I like but don't *love* numbering just the evens or the font. I get that it's a reasonably faithful recreation of a watch from the 60s, but I would have picked a more timeless (pun intended) font or just markers and no numbers.

Looks and works exactly as advertised... I hope they produce another batch of these
The watch is exactly as advertised- understated and just right. Seller actually contacted me with a note to ensure I understood the approximate size of the watch- which I replied that i did. Watch is small-ish by today's fashionable standards (but note that it wasn't always the case that men's wristwatches were garish-Cadillac-emblem-monstrous-overcompensating-for-underendowment/plus-sized-diabetic-modern-American). The motion and feel winding it and setting it is nice and smooth (of course, it's brand new). It looks just like the pictures, if you're wondering if it's easy to read or reflects light funny. So far it seems to keep time within a minute, 24 hours after winding it. Edit: I replaced the leather band with one of those old-fashioned Speidel twist-o-flex bands. The leather band was perfectly fine, I just prefer the look of the metal band. The band is 18mm wide where it attaches to the watch and the little spring pins that hold it on are conventional (lots of self-help youtube videos).

Great watch that stays true to the 60's
I love this watch. Smaller watches like this used to be the norm for men. My usual watch size is 38 ~ 42 mm, but I have no issue sporting this smaller one. It's beautiful and can be dressed up or down. I have a 7.25" wrist with leaner build, and I think it goes well on my wrist. I love the manual wind-up mechanical movement. I wind it each morning I wear it. It creates a closer appreciation for the watch as apposed to grab-n-go quartz or automatic movements. The sunburst dial is mesmerizing. My only complaint is when setting the time, sometimes the hacking second hand will "slip" a few seconds, or the minute hand will "jump" to the next minute. I work around the minute hand issue by gently pressing the crown in. At around $200, I can easily live with this. Before you buy, make sure you are comfortable with smaller watches. Don't buy this if you've never put a smaller watch on your wrist to see what it looks like. If you appreciate the beauty of watches of the past, you'll really enjoy this one!

Looks cool but runs super fast
This watch looks super cool on my wrist, but the accuracy is off by about +1 second per minute. So, if accuracy is important to you, look elsewhere.

A classic accessory
I love everything about this watch. The look is sleek with a mid-century modern vibe. Although it's a man's watch, it's perfectly proportioned to be a slightly oversized, not-bulky women's watch. I wear it loose to add a touch of "casual" to what could be a very dressy timepiece. I also love that it requires winding. It reminds me of the very first watch I ever received as a gift when I was a kid.

Fragile movement
This watch checked a lot of boxes for me, small, simple and mechanical (battery free). But, I didn’t like the implementation of the movement, particularly the crown. It is very hard to adjust the time accurately, and the small crown is hard to wind. Even with the small crown, I seem to have overwound the watch and it’s now not working. I’m corresponding with Timex about that, but so far no joy, and it seems they consider that I abused the watch by *somehow* over torquing the tiny, slippery crown. The plastic vis-a-vis crystal is also scuffed. I am swearing off inexpensive mechanical watches for now.

Classy, as advertised
This is a manual wind, vintage-style watch. The 34mm size is smaller than most modern men’s watches. If this is not what you want, you will not like this. If it is what you want, you might like this or you might prefer to buy a real vintage watch.

リュウズの遊びがあって良くない
リュウズの遊び(ガタつき)があり手巻きの際に気分が悪くなる。 以前国内で同じものを買って壊れたので海外のこれを頼んだがやはり 国内で買う方が何かの時にはいいと思う。
