We got this because our old skinny, space-saving grater was suchhh a pain to get clean, filled up too quickly, and had a plastic handle we didn't want in the dishwasher because microplastics. This thing is great - the rubber thing at the bottom comes off easily and goes back on again if you want non-skid. We throw it in the dishwasher and it comes out clean. And the slicer has become surprisingly useful for grilled cheese, quesadillas, and nachos.

What separated this grater from others is the full stainless steel handle on top. Bought this to replace a grater with a plastic handle. Through use and the dishwasher, the plastic handle started to peel off... We don't need to worry about that with a stainless handle...

The grater works very well. My only complaint is the rubber band around the bottom. Doesn't stay on very well & a little difficult to put back on.

This item is made in Luxembourg and is the best box grater I have ever owned. It is tall enough to have enough leverage to grate well, instead of having make many strokes using a shorter grater. The handle at the top is comfortable and the rubber base keeps it secure while propping it up against a bowl.

My 53 year old grater, all stainless and made in USA, bit the dust. This one, though from China is just as good except that the rubber strip around the bottom keeps popping off and may just as well be discarted. Very good!

This is a great basic grater with multiple options for slicing and shredding. Whether I’m grating cheese, slicing veggies, or doing finer shreds, it handles it all really well. It’s nothing fancy, but it works exactly how it should. Sharp, easy to use, and easy to clean. A super handy tool to have in the kitchen—and it doesn’t take up much space either. Definitely worth it!
