Reminds me of my Chicago days of long ago.
I have read some negative reviews about these deep dish pizzas. However, if you cook them properly, the crust will not be hard and they are excellent. I prefer the sausage but the cheese is also wonderful.

Worth it.
I find this pizza to be fantastic. Particularly for a frozen pizza. I guarantee that your family won’t suspect that it’s frozen. It’s a premium price yes, it’s about what you would pay for a pizza that you ordered in a restaurant, and I say it’s worth it. It’s generous with its high quality ingredients. I have enjoyed both the pepperoni and the sausage. There’s a big helping of both with heaps of fresh tomatoes and a good deal of cheese. I find the crust to be remarkable. It’s really best to pull it out of *my* oven after 38 or 40 minutes. So when you’re heating it yourself, you need to conflate their directions with what you know about your oven. Mine runs a bit hot and as a resort, I pull things out early, and the pizza crust was remarkable as a result. Yeah, a great pizza.

Try it, you'll definitely like it!
I've been ordering pizza from Lou Malnati's of Chicago, and delivered to my home in Dallas, TX for over 20 years, and the convenience of ordering through Amazon was great! The prices and service were exactly the same as if called them directly, so it's a win-win for everyone! Now, let's talk about the pizza! If you've never tried true Chicago Deep Dish pizza, you are truly missing out on something amazing! Lou Malnati's Deep Dish is spot on and delicious. They grow their own tomatoes for their chunky style sauce (which goes on TOP of the pizza), and they make their own sausage too, and if you're a fan of sausage then you'll LOVE what Lou's does...they put an ENTIRE sausage "patty" to cover the whole pizza so you get sausage in every, single delectable bite! Contrary to popular belief, Deep Dish does NOT mean a thick crust by any means. Their crust is perfectly crunchy, and not too thick or too thin! I've heard the crust is so good because of the water from Lake Michigan, and I must say, I think there is something to that! TRY THIS PIZZA! You will NOT be disappointed, in fact, you'll be hooked on it for life...I know I am!!

Great for pizza lovers
Good price for authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. My only complaint is there is no space for a gift message when sending it to others. This is a problem that can be easily fixed by the manufacturer or Amazon. Simply provide space for a gift message so people know who sent them such a delicious treat!

Needs work on the crust
So, I absolutely love the Lou Malnati pizza in their restaurants in Chicago. This is why I was excited about the ability to purchase these pizzas. While the sauce and flavor was similar, the crust needs to be improved upon. Hard and chewy. The quality of the product certainly does not justify the price. More work needs to be done.

I talked to a traveler who said these pizzas are great on the day I excitedly received them
Run! In fairness, I talked to a traveler who said these pizzas are great on the day I excitedly received them. I am in Cali where it is semi difficult to land a deep dish. No need to buy a pan, the crust is pre-cooked. The crust is very dessert pie crust-like minus the sugar. The cheese is decent mozzarella for mail order (aka same as frozen pizza). The sauce was okay. Pepperonis were to excellent (just order their pepperonis!). My one-star? Sausage pizzas are toxic and in fairness the crust is stale and wtf? If I’m correct, dare you to get a quarter of a toxic mail order sausage pizza down. Seriously message me if you did. My two were crazy rancid. Is this Chicago!? Cuz that’s what is he is representing.

Great Pizzas
What can I say? They were delicious beyond my expectations. I even had one of the pepperoni pizzas for breakfast and it was great. I ate half of it and my son ate the other half. I highly recommend Chicago Deep Dish Pizzas to anyone who loves pizza as I do. When I was a boy, growing up during the depression years of the 1930's, ( I was born in 1926) no one in the small southern Virginia town knew what a pizza was. I was introduced to them when, as a young man, I went to work in the Washington, DC area, and have loved them ever since. Buy some and enjoy! Willie B Underwood

I would choose Marco’s or Village Inn Pizza over these
If ya like tomatoes and cheese on a not so great crust, you might like these. Maybe that’s how they eat pizza where they came from but it is not anything I expected, especially for the price. I don’t think there was even pizza sauce on it ,crust cheese very little pepperoni, covered with tomatoes kind of like you would get out of the canned tomatoes. I’m not saying they were canned, but that’s what it reminded me of. I’ll try the sausage one tomorrow to see if it’s any better. I just opened the sausage and it doesn’t look much better.
