Battenberg is delicious 😋
I have missed my British chocolates and cakes and chips and this Battenberg, tastes just like how I remembered and will be buying much more. Definitely recommend it if you like the taste of marzipan 😀 Fantastic snack

Yummy treat while watching Great British Bake Off
As a lifelong fan of Great British Bakeoff, I am trying to find ways to taste some of the staples that come up every season. That is how I came across these Mini-Battenbergs. Now I have never had a fresh one, so don't come after me you English bakers, but....I am in love with these. They are not too sweet, they have a taste of almond, apricot, and vanilla cake. I was so pleasantly surprised I bought pack of 5 boxes after finishing this one. I personally enjoyed these while watching old GBBO.

I liked it .. but expecting something different
I think it would be better if they dialed down the sweetness and sugar levels on these little cakes. The sweetness is a little too strong and potent for me. I thought the cake was gonna be more sponge cake like. Than a squishy dense like texture . But overall a good taste! Definitely the almond flavoring extract comes thru!

Sadly arrived stale
Although in date arrived stale. The cakes were hard and crumbly and I would not waste my money again. Really looked forward to these home country treats. Nope not buying again.
