Really Usefull
This desktop mic offers great sound quality and performs flawlessly for calls, streaming, or recording. It also looks fantastic on the desk — sleek, modern, and well-designed. The build feels solid, and its stylish appearance really stands out. Overall, a high-quality, great-looking mic that’s well worth it.

Solid construction and performance for the price point
I've always loved HyperX products, I have a 7 year old Hyperx Cloud II headset that's still going strong even though the leather is starting to flake off. HyperX construction always feels premium with the brushed metal, soft leather, accent stitched thread, etc and their microphone line follows that same trend. The Quadcast is much bigger and heavier than I expected it to be based on the listing photos. It feels sturdy in the hands. Nothing feels cheap, not even the soft coated plastic parts. It looks sleek, even for a gaming mic. I don't care for the black and red or RGB aesthetic, but HyperX does a good job of toning it down while still making it marketable to that specific crowd. I bought a pop filter that blocks out 90% of the red LED which unfortunately can't be turned off, although it serves the purpose of letting you know that the mic is on and active so it's not all bad. I would recommend a pop filter, although the Quadcast has one built in, it was still picking up some pops from about 7-8 inches from my mouth. Pop filter eliminates it entirely. I also bought a boom arm, the Quadcast's shock stand wasn't able to filter out impact noise from my wood desk, could just be the size and density of my desk and not specifically the stand's fault, but again the boom arm eliminates that issue entirely. As far as performance, I was upgrading from my Hyperx Cloud II mic which has always been subpar so it was a significant difference, all of my friends mentioned it within seconds of hearing me talk on the Quadcast, saying I sounded really clear, like I was "in their head", or like I was on a podcast. This was with no finetuning, now I use the SteelSeries Sonar program for the ClearCast AI noise cancelling, it filters out my keyboard taps and background noise better than Discord's Krispy and also carries over into in-game recordings, Krispy obviously cannot. Also love the mute function. Gentle tap on the end of the mic works every time, super responsive. It's a great mic, I don't think you'll find anything better for the price, this is it. I've already gotten some of my friends to buy it because they were so blown away by how much better and clearer I sound. If you've been considering making the switch from a headset mic, I'd say look no further. You will not be disappointed with this mic.

Whats not to like?
Excellent mic, easy to set up and pretty much plug and play with excellent sound quality but also has options to fine tune. The stand it comes with i found good enough, it worked well but I fitted it to a tonor low profile boom arm and its perfect for me. Its a very good looking mic goo, super light the stand it comes with has all the weight its solid metal. It has a nice mute and volume adjuster on the mic too. With 4 directional ? Sound Options on it as well I've had no issues with background noise etc its clear has good range not had a complaint yet. 3 meter cable so can send it around a desk and up the boom arm np. And the box it comes in is really well designed, hard to see any issues regarding that. On offer around £60 it has to be one of the best on the market. Would highly recommend.

Good quality/looks for the price - but has drawbacks
I’ll start with the negative. Upon getting this mic and plugging it in. The hyper x software wouldn’t recognise It no matter what I did, no forum posts/YouTube videos to assist with this new model either - to fix I just had to update windows to most recent patch. The cable that connects to the mic itself is a little flimsy, I keep my mic infront of me with no boom arms or anything and when I move it around to get it out the way it is regular and frequent that it disconnects. Now for the good. Amazing sound quality straight out the box, but to get all your moneys worth I recommend a third party software, steel series sonar is really good and it’s what I’ve been using, voice meter is a option, with these you can eq the mic as without this it does sound flat when compared to other condenser mics at this price point Looks amazing like..actually adds to the setup esp for someone who wants to add subtle colour to their setup. All the options in the software really make it worth paying a bit extra for the rgb colour option. I recommend this mic 8/10 times 👍

I recently had the opportunity to try out the HyperX QuadCast microphone, and I must say, it impressed me with its performance and versatility. Here's my review of the HyperX QuadCast. First and foremost, the HyperX QuadCast features a sleek and stylish design that adds a professional touch to any setup. It comes with a solid and sturdy build quality, showcasing HyperX's commitment to durability and reliability. The microphone is available in an eye-catching black and red color scheme, giving it a distinct and attractive appearance. Sound quality is a standout feature of the HyperX QuadCast. It utilizes a condenser microphone with a frequency response range that captures clear and detailed audio. Whether you're recording vocals, streaming, podcasting, or gaming, the QuadCast delivers crisp and accurate sound reproduction. The microphone also features sensitivity and gain controls, allowing you to adjust the audio levels to suit your needs and environment. One of the notable features of the HyperX QuadCast is its versatility. It offers four polar patterns: stereo, omnidirectional, cardioid, and bidirectional. This flexibility allows you to adapt the microphone to different recording situations. The stereo pattern is ideal for capturing a wide soundstage, while the cardioid pattern focuses on recording audio directly in front of the microphone, minimizing background noise. The omnidirectional and bidirectional patterns offer additional options for capturing sound from different directions. Ease of use is another advantage of the HyperX QuadCast. It features a built-in anti-vibration shock mount, which helps to reduce unwanted noise and vibrations caused by desk movements or typing. The microphone also has a convenient touch-sensitive mute button on top, allowing you to easily mute and unmute the audio. Additionally, the QuadCast utilizes a USB connection, making it plug-and-play compatible with most computers and gaming consoles, eliminating the need for additional audio interfaces. Another notable feature of the HyperX QuadCast is its integrated pop filter. The pop filter helps to minimize plosive sounds (such as "p" and "b" sounds) and reduces unwanted breath noise, resulting in cleaner and more professional-sounding recordings. This built-in pop filter saves you the hassle of purchasing and attaching a separate filter. In conclusion, the HyperX QuadCast microphone delivers exceptional sound quality, versatility, and ease of use. Whether you're a content creator, streamer, podcaster, or gamer, the QuadCast provides a reliable and professional audio recording solution. With its stylish design, multiple polar patterns, integrated pop filter, and user-friendly features, the HyperX QuadCast is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality microphone for their broadcasting or recording needs.

Absolutely fantastic mic for the price. I work from home and have to be on Zoom/Teams calls 24/7 and the mic picks up my voice with perfect clarity. The adjustable gain knob works wonders and is able to perfectly balance your voice and cutting out unwanted background noise. My coworkers actually have been commenting on how clear and crisp my voice sounds. I also make YouTube content on the side and this mic is fantastic for any VoiceOvers or livestreams I do. Works well within OBS/StreamLabs and PremierPro. I used to have the original HyperX Quadcast and decided to upgrade as I moved recently and decided to upgrade my entire setup. Great quality mic with a competitive price. I think the best part, for me, is that you can mount this mic to an arm or have it sitting on your desk on the included stand/shock mount and the quality is generally the same. I would recommend this mic to anyone.

The HyperX QuadCast is an ultra-credible USB mic. Was on superb price during Ramadan offers. Here's what you need to know: 1. Versatility and Quality: - The QuadCast offers great response and is easy to use. - It's ideal for podcasting, streaming, or any vocal-centric application. - The red lights indicate when you're live, making it user-friendly. 2. Technical Details: - Dimensions: 21cm (without stand), 25cm (with stand) - Weight: 254g (without mount or stand), 364g (total) - What We Like: Easy setup, clear when muted, decent quality - What We Don't Like: USB-only, slight sibilant boost, added light 3. Sound Quality Metrics: - Sound Quality: 9.5/10 - Bass: 9.5/10 - Midrange: 9.7/10 - Highs: 9.0/10 - Durability/Build Quality: 9.0/10 - Value: 9.0/10 - Design: 9.0/10 4. Overall Impression: - The QuadCast is a reliable choice for content creators and gamers. - While it's not for professional recording, it delivers excellent performance within its price range. The Blue Snowball iCE is an entry-level USB mic with its own unique charm: 1. Design and Looks: - The spherical design resembles a retro radio, making it stand out. - It's compact and comes with a solid metal stand. 2. Sound Quality and Quirks: - Crystal-clear quality for both speaking and singing. - It has a single polar pattern (cardioid) and lacks additional modes. - Not ideal for extreme closeups or handling distance. 3. Pros and Cons: - Pros: Mid-century aesthetics, great sound (with tweaking), portable - Cons: Limited polar pattern, not suitable for extreme closeups 4. Comparison with HyperX QuadCast: - The Snowball iCE is budget-friendly, while the QuadCast offers more features. - Both serve different purposes: the QuadCast for streaming and podcasting, and the iCE for entry-level recording. In summary, choose the HyperX QuadCast if you want versatility and professional-grade performance. Opt for the Blue Snowball iCE if you're on a tight budget and need a straightforward USB mic. Each has its niche, so consider your specific needs when deciding. Remember, the right microphone depends on your use case and preferences! 🎙️🎧

The HyperX QuadCast 2 was the easiest microphone I’ve ever set up on my PC. It was simple and only required connecting one cord. Once it was plugged in, I didn’t have to adjust any audio settings, the microphone sounded professional right out of the box. Aesthetically, the frost color is a beautiful pearly white, and the LEDs inside the microphone look perfect, not too bright but not overly minimalistic either. The included stand is high-quality and offers easy adjustments if you don’t want to purchase a boom arm.
