Anthracite 519450 PRECIS CASCADE SILGRANIT Undermount Kitchen Sink with Colander

We've had this sink for 9 months and I feel like I can now offer my informed opinion. It is a wonderful product; much better than I ever expected. I worried about the black finish showing mineral deposits or just looking dirty or hazy but it doesn't. The only thing that will temporarily mar the finish is powder based cleaners like SoftScrub or Ajax. They don't damage it but they do sit on the surface and it takes some work to get the powder rinsed off. Every 6 wks or so, I dry the sink and then rub it with a few drops of olive oil on a paper towel. Makes it look like new. The layout of this design is brilliant. The small elevated section is wonderful for draining pasta and keeping it out of the water or for washing vegetables and keeping the clean ones out of the main sink. The stainless basket that fits the right hand section is great for sponges/scrubber or dirty silver wear or drip drying a few dishes. If there is any negative it would be that the sink doesn't come with a basket/strainer for the drain. However, it can be purchased separately. Update After 2 Years: Looks like new and I still love it! Update After 3+ Years: Still looks like new; still love it! Update After 6+ Years: Still looks like new; still love it!

Enjoying the sink.. no stains.. at all. I was reluctant at first with the white but it is great.... stain resistant.. matches the white quartz perfectly.. and most importantly .. IT IS CANADIAN.. BUY CANADIAN, FIGHT trump !

I can't stress enough how much I love this sink. The finish is beautiful, it's easy to keep clean, it still looks new after a year of wear and tear, but most importantly: the basket/cascade area is wonderful and versatile, able to accommodate a wide range of tasks. Sure, it's great for air drying dishes or washed veggies, but it's also handy for drying large cutting boards by standing them between the basket and the sink edge. And seriously, everything fits in this huge, deep sink. I was a little worried that it might be shallow compared to other 'deep sinks'; however, since it is an under-mount you gain an extra inch of depth due to the countertop. Washing 14" fry pans, dutch ovens, large baking sheets, whatever... they all fit easily. I also bought the smaller prep sink for my butlers pantry, and it too is wonderful.

This sink looks amazing and is sturdy. I love the inside ledge and removable basket that’s included. I’ve had it 3 months and the only issue I’ve had is that a painter rinsed some brushes in it which left some spots. The spots were basically water spots with a little paint that settled under the basket- I think he didn’t see them since they were under the basket. They dried and left some paint residue behind. It is very hard to find info on his to clean this type if spot from a composite sink. I was able to clean it with mild cleaner and persistent elbow grease but I’m worried about other unforeseen messes, I wont know how to clean. This sink is expensive and I want to keep it nice.

Perfect for our downstairs bar kitchen sink! Pros: Has an elevated side with a small lip on it The lip has an opening to drain wet dishes The brown color hides stains easily The surface cleans easily Cons: The color does not hide and light spots or food that stick on it Water or liquid spots sit on top of it and show more due to the darker color Overall we like it, but we’re unsure if we’d like it for a main sink insert! It’s great for a minimally used sink, but only because I don’t want to have to clean it all the time if light colored liquids or food get on it.

I had the sink installed in April - and on July 2nd - there is a crack in the sink. I'm sick about this and am in the process of dealing with Blanco and the warranty. As this is an undermount - and my countertop is brand new - I don't know what the resolution will be. The crack is in one of the rounded corners. I have been very gentle with the sink. I still don't have a range - so nothing heavy has been in the sink to cause the crack. In addition, on the outside - part of the surface seems to be flaking. Additionally - I purchased a Hansgrohe faucet and it is tall. This sink is shallow - approximately 7" - and even when I am very very careful, I usually get splattered with water. This sink is great - if it didn't crack - as an island sink with a short faucet. If I'd known then what I know now. I will update once I hear from Blanco. I am very DISAPPOINTED that although Amazon was the seller, they are taking no responsibility in helping me in the process of getting this matter resolved.

We love this sink! We did a big remodel when we downsized to a condo. The contactor ordered the wrong size sink so we started researching. Since a double basin would give me 2 very small sinks, I thought I'd go with one large basin. The added benefit of this sink is the small ledge on the side that holds a stainless steel basket. It's perfect for holding small items so they don't fall down the garbage disposal and for washing fruits & vegetables. The basket cleans easily. I'm so happy with the lighter color sink also! In the end, we're happy the contractor messed up on their order.

Really beautiful sink, I was skeptical about having it shipped but it arrived no problem. It is shockingly much lighter than I expected, you can pick it up with one hand easily. The color and texture are fantastic and while I ideally wanted a single sink, I have to admit the drying shelf is quite nice. The basket is great for draining pasta or washing vegetables, or just drying kitchen utensils. The remaining area is still bigger than the old sink I had too. It's deep enough to be very useful but still allows my slide out garbage can to fit under. Time will tell how durable it is but I did splurge on the Blanco grid for it. I also bought a kohler brass drain insert which I think looks nicer than the standard shiny chrome ones with this color.

We chose this sink for our kitchen reno. It's great! We love the large size that lets you get a whole roasting pan in there. The raised shelf on the right is great for letting small items drain in the included basket. It also divides up the saving a bit of water when you only need an inch or two of water. We chose the "truffle" colour, and it goes great with our countertops and cabinets. Note that the strainer is not included.

We love this sink. It is easy to clean, the color blends well with our granite countertops, it is quiet, and this particular style works so well with our lifestyle and cooking habits. It is our second Blanco kitchen sink and we are still thrilled with the choice.

Blanco Silgranite sinks are a great product. This seller does not include the strainer and drain with the sink. Blanco Canada does include these required parts, but this Supplier ships from U.S. The sink will accept almost any 3 1/2 inch drain, but be aware this will cost you extra. I expressed my concern that the drain is excluded, even though it is shown in the photo. The seller was king enough to offer a credit to cover the drain assembly. It is installed now and a great product at a fair price.

Sink is well made, easy to clean. I was worried about the delivery because the particular colour I chose was difficult to find, but was happy when it shipped on time. Although we like it, I am not sure if we should have gotten a double instead of this one. The small section on the right comes with a basket for holding items.
