High quality, fast, and works as specified. Any wobble is due to no water in the kettle for it to settle securely on its base, adding water to the kettle eliminates that problem and insures a safe connection to the base. It is fast to the boil and will maintain the higher temp for a few hours when selected. I have an older insta-hot but it does no longer gets as hot and has a limited amount of hot water compared to when it was new. Very reliable so far, use it every day with my French Press for coffee and for tea.

Best teapot ever glad. I caught it on sale. I love the various temperature modes and I love the fact that you can steep the tea and keep it at the desired temperature Very important, when brewing certain types of tea to make the medicinal teas more effective

Love my kettle. Makes making tea effortless. Allowed me to get my brew on. 😂 Only gripe is a bit difficult to clean.

The problem with this kettle is that the shutoff mechanism doesn't work when it reaches the target temperature, so it will boil itself dry if you don't watch it and shut it off manually. When not in use, it has also beeped at random, as if it was being turned on. For safety, we have to unplug it when not using it. I tried to contact the manufacturer to report the issue and get help. The Amazon "get product support" link takes you to their external website, but they have not responded to multiple emails. Ultimately, I am very disappointed with both the product and the lack of communication from the manufacturer and have to warn other customers to stay away given the significant safety issues with this kettle.
