Mehron Makeup Barrier Spray | Makeup Setting Spray for Face 2 fl oz (60 ml)

It works a little too well when applied properly ... I spent a good while in the shower trying to get the body makeup off.

Used as a finishing spray for my makeup on my wedding. My makeup did not move! A little drying, so only use for special occasions. Hydrate and do proper skin prep beforehand & you’ll be set.

Gets the job done, but the smell of alcohol is something. Please keep your eyes closed for a few minutes after applying the product to avoid eye irritation

Package came in time for my Spirit Day at work: Disney Day, as I used it to set my blue face to portrait "Sadness" from Inside Out. I love this setting spray!! The process: after I applied moisturizer, I primed my face heavily with primer first, you can use any face primer. Then wet the face paint and started to paint my face gradually. I used the colour Sky from Mehron. Wait a few minutes to dry before reapplying. Then I applied the setting powder I bought from Mehron. I added my own eyeshadow, blush and blue lipstick. Last I sprayed my face with the setting spray, both the store-bought and this one I got from Mehron, to prevent staining or transferring. When I touched my face lightly, it did not transfer. I got so many compliments from lots of coworkers. What a day!! Afterwards, to remove it I just used makeup remover and it wiped out easily. I didn't experience any irritation. Love the quality and texture. The colour did transfer a bit to my sweater around neck just a bit since I didn't set with setting powder or use setting spray too much in that area, but it's easily removed after a wash. Love this product and will definitely use it again for either cosplay at events or spirit day at work ❤️.

Worked much better than the Mehron setting powder. I uses as a primer as well as a setting spray. This spray creates a layer on skin so that the Mehron body paint adheres easily. As a setting spray it does make the paint smudgeproof. However it is not waterproof. The paint will rub off it it comes into come into contact with water. But other than that, this spray made my makeup stay perfect for over 12 hours. Would definitely purchase again, but would get a much larger bottle, 2 oz was only just enough for a one time use for entire upper body.

My make up stays on for sure which I love but this feels sticky, makes my face look wet and oily. It smells terrible when spraying so be sure to close your eyes and hold your breath. Would use as priming agent when applying but get something more matte as a final setting spray for me.

I really recommend mayron products, I did purchase the setting powder along with the setting spray because my husband's costume makeup was literally red and it was all over his bald head and face and he sweats like crazy, I was so worried that it was going to be a transfer problem all night long. We use the red powder pigment and a moistened brush to apply all over, then hit it with the setting powder and then setting spray. When I tell you this stayed on all night no transfer at all, definitely costume quality and highly recommend. I definitely comes with a lot of product for future uses so hopefully it keeps to next year

I have not tried any barrier spray that works better than this. I can wear my makeup for 16 hours or more without a touch-up and only need to blot my oily nose once towards the end of the day. Nothing budges. Love this stuff. I usually do three light sprays. Once after foundation, once after eyes and once before I walk out the door. It can leave you with a dewy appearance. If you're going for something more matte, finish with the Mehron setting powder.
