I just got one of those cool espresso machines secondhand and needed to replace the filter, so I bought this! It is exactly what it says it is! A water filter that's a perfect fit for certain Delonghi espresso machines. It came with instructions, was easy to set up and put into the tank, and most importantly, extends the life of the machine. Supposedly it helps with the coffee flavor too. I'm sure that's true, but I honestly cant tell the difference.

PURCHASE DATE: 25NOV23 PRICE PAID: $15.90 REVIEW DATE: 06DEC23 We are avid coffee enthusiasts, regularly maintaining our DeLonghi Eletta Explore by adhering to the recommended descaling and cleaning routine. Recently, we noticed a change in the taste of our coffee, prompting us to conduct a thorough descaling and cleaning process. Simultaneously, we decided to install purchase and install a new filter, as we were nearing the recommended two-month replacement interval. The replacement filter, acquired from Amazon at a more cost-effective rate compared to the DeLonghi website, arrived in a sealed DeLonghi box. Upon inspection, we observed distinct differences between the new filter and the original one that came with the machine. Notably, the new filter is taller and exhibits slight variations in its shape. After installing the new filter, we brewed a fresh cup of coffee and found that the taste returned to its normal, delightful profile. This positive outcome, coupled with the cost savings, leaves us with no complaints, and we would gladly consider purchasing this filter again. For your reference, I have attached photos for a side-by-side comparison of the new and original filters, with the new filter on the left. In the event that any issues arise in the future, I will be sure to update this review accordingly. PLEASE NOTE: I do these reviews to help people out. J’utilise ce filtre De’Longhi depuis plusieurs mois et j’en suis pleinement satisfait. L’installation est très simple et il est parfaitement compatible avec ma Rivelia. Depuis que je l’utilise, l’eau est mieux filtrée, le café a un meilleur goût et ma machine reste plus propre, avec moins de dépôts de calcaire. C’est un accessoire indispensable pour prolonger la durée de vie de la machine tout en conservant une qualité de café constante. Le remplacement est rapide et les instructions sont claires. Même si le prix est un peu plus élevé que certaines alternatives, la qualité du produit d’origine justifie largement la différence. Je recommande ce filtre à tous les propriétaires d’une machine De’Longhi compatible. C’est un achat fiable qui contribue à préserver les performances de la machine sur le long terme.

Il filtro è un oggetto che non si nota, lavora silenziosamente all'interno del serbatoio, ma è un ingranaggio importante per garantire la qualità del caffè e la longevità della macchina. Perché lo consiglio: Efficacia contro il calcare: Utilizzo una De'Longhi Start da dicembre e vivo in una zona dove l'acqua è estremamente dura. Mentre vedo segni di calcare su tutti i miei elettrodomestici, la macchina del caffè è ancora perfetta: segno inequivocabile che il filtro svolge il suo compito egregiamente. Risparmio nel lungo periodo: Si tratta di una piccola spesa ricorrente che, nel tempo, permette di risparmiare sensibilmente sulla manutenzione straordinaria e su decalcificazioni troppo frequenti. Praticità d'uso: È semplicissimo da sostituire. Inoltre, la macchina automatica mi avvisa esattamente quando è il momento di cambiarlo, evitandomi di dover segnare manualmente la data sul datario del filtro. Un acquisto obbligato per chi vuole preservare il gusto del caffè e la salute della propria macchina.
