De Cecco Acini Di Pepe, 16oz

My daughter and daughter eat what's called Frog Eye Salad. It's a dish that my mother made when she was alive. That is the best pasta noodle of sorts for this salad

I could not find this in my local store and it was the much needed ingredient for my Italian wedding soup. I’m so glad I was able to find it on Amazon and have it sent quickly. These do expand the longer they’re in liquid, so be prepared that it may only take a half a cup of dry noodles to make a large pot of soup. Taste is great texture is wonderful. Just be prepared. They look small but they do expand.

What more can I say to convince you....you have to try and taste them for yourself. Pearls can be priceless in oysters and these PEARLS OF PASTA can add just what you need to boost your vegetable soup or add just a little something to your clear broth. I buy this pasta because I haven't been able to find a local store that sells it. Walmart never has it, neither do any of the grocery stores where I live. I was happy to see it on Amazon, however, it is way too expensive. I purchase it because I like making Italian Wedding Soup, and it calls for this pasta. I have tried using other pasta's but even when rinsed they absorb too much of the broth and get big and soggy after the first day. The De Cecco Acini Di Pepe pasta doesn't do that. It is perfectly suited for that soup. I've purchased it twice, and that may be the last time, because of the expense. It's Pasta!!!!! Not Gold.

The tiny size of this past is perfect for making my favorite chicken soup recipe. It cooks quickly and the quality is excellent. The value for your money is what I expect from DeCecco.

Great with homemade chicken soup

Its almost impossible to find this small of pasta in the local grocery stores. Its great for edding soup and frog eye salad.

My grandmother used to make a soup called "pastina" but I could never find the right pasta. But now I know that pastina is really Acini Di Pepe. Whenever I don't feel well - or anyone else in my family for that matter - I make pastina with chicken broth. It is delicious! If you want to make it, make sure you allow for expansion; these little balls of pasta really take on the broth. The box arrived perfectly and the Acini Di Pepe was fresh and so good! Thanks to De Cecco, I know where to find my pastina!

False Advertising!!! Only 1 box (16oz.) arrived!!! Other 19???

got 1 box instead of 20 not eligable for rfun i am reporting to better buisness bureau

The title indicates 20 noces of 16 onces. Juste received the package, There is only one box. NEVER PAY this Much for only one box of pasta...
