I’m using it for holding a large and heavy wreath to heavily using glass door. Sometimes door gets slammed by wind but it’s been up there more than 6 months. It’s pretty well made.

If the surface of your front door is smooth or polished,not textured, it is ok to hold up a wreath.

Will this latch onto the back of a bathroom door to hang bath towels? And how many lbs. could this hook hold?

I have used several of these on the glass shower stall and they stick very well. I don’t think they would stick onto a bathroom door. I do use them to hold up heavy bath towels (not all the time; only when in the shower). They have been holding great for several YEARS.
