We had a rapid charger for our EGO lawnmower (great product and quiet - neighbors went and bought one last year too after seeing and hearing ours,) but needed another one to help charge a new EGO snowblower. Too bad they don't make a dual rapid charger for charging 2 at a time. We could only find the dual regular time charger, so ordered another of it too.

This charger is a lot better than the standard one that came with the Ego tools I bought. It not only charges my batteries faster, but it also has a "fuel" gauge which will show a battery's level of charge. I like that feature as Ego batteries and tools do not have that feature except for a few tools and the battery letting one know when they reach 15%, and I like that I can always be able to compare my batteries's condition as they age. This charger also has a fan to keep the batteries cool when charging them. As a result, the charger can be a little loud. I keep my batteries and charger in my house so that they are stored and charged in a climate controlled environment as temperature extremes are hard on lithium ion batteries. I definitely like having a second rapid charger as I bought the snow blower with two 5 ah batteries. Having a second rapid charger allows me to charge a second set of batteries while using another set. I have a total of five 5 ah batteries. While I have only had one use of my snow blower that required two sets of batteries, it is nice to be able to charge sets of batteries as fast as I can use them.

We have two EGO products, a large leaf blower and mower. This for us is a quick charger, meaning on average it takes about 30-mins to charge our mower battery. That's good for us as mow the front yard, take a break while the battery charges and then mow the back. Also keeps our blower battery ready to go.

Replaced the one I had after 6 years of use. This came quickly and works like the original. Someone mentioned that they could not register this product as Amazon was not a reseller. Mine registered just fine.

I like how quickly these are able to recharge the two 56 volt 5 amp hour batteries that came with my snow blower. But the blower came with only one charger, so I bought a second one. Wet or heavy snow on my 250 foot driveway sometimes takes more than one charge, but now I can charge both batteries at once in about 30 minutes, then get back to work. Much more economical than buying two extra batteries. Each charger draws up to 500 watts, but an ordinary 15-amp circuit can easily support two at once. I also like the four LEDs which indicate the state of charge. The last 25% takes longest, probably because cell balancing is done at that point. The fan in the charger is a bit loud, especially at the beginning of the charge. To keep within the recommended temperature range, charging and battery storage should be indoors rather than an unheated space.

Super fast charging. They are clutch when the power goes out. I charge them fast when the generator is on and then the batteries are ready for the inverter. 5ah battery charges in the like 20 mini or less. It's wild.

Great fast charger for ego lawn mower battery

The product description was unclear about the voltage, and after it arrived, I found out it’s 110 volts and didn’t work due to this issue. This is unacceptable — the voltage should have been clearly stated.
