Easy to use and lightweight
I am an old lady that still likes to do her own yard work. I canโt handle the gas powered trimmers and electric makes no sense when you have a big property. This trimmer is super light and so easy to use. Perfect for me. I call it my Granny Trimmer.

Best Weed Whacker I've Owned
OK, I love this weed whacker! It's lightweight. It's also a little smaller than the one I had so it's easier to use. It's sturdy. Ryobi does a good job. I have one of their mowers and love that, too! Definitely worth the price.

Best lightweight battery-powered trimmer on the market
This is a powerful, lightweigt trimmer that lasts longer on one charge than is advertised. I trimmed, edged and mowed my lawn with this tool, and it never slowed down or felt heavy. The handle is comfortable and the balance is perfect for my height (5' 7"). The line feed is automatic - no bumping or handling the string to keep it going. The only thing that is a bit awkward at first is finding the right grip to keep the safety switch depressed while trimming. Just a great battery-powered yard tool! Thanks, Ryobi!

Rufus lied...
I specifically asked Rufus if this purchase came with a battery and charger. I was told yes. It did not. The box it was delivered in had all the warnings for battery transport on it. No battery was transported. The box (which was not the original) had space designated for a battery. No battery lay within those spaces. I suspect someone saved the battery so they could make a little more money selling it separately. If you feel the price is worth the device only, the device works fine. If you donโt like being misled, move on.

Easy to use, lasts for years.
This is my second one. The first one lasted 5 years-- and we have to mow and trim twice a week for about 8 months a year... so I think I got my money's worth. Lightweight, easy to use. Comes 99% assembled. Battery is still great 5 years later, so now we have an extra.
