So easy a kid can do it! First picture shows my son who wanted to help update his room apply the paint . This was simple and the before part of applying his peel and stick wall paper shown in second photo . Good quality dries quickly and worth it!

Seemed to work extremely well as a base for our Grasscloth project. We used several coats of this primer.

Most of the one-star reviews here are for damaged shipping; they seem to have solved that problem by taping the can shut so it doesn’t open in transit. Mine arrived fine. HOWEVER, when I opened the can to use it, the product was separated - fluid on top and really thick paste below. Completely unusable as it was. I got a drill powered paint mixer and mixed it for nearly 30 min, which got it at least mixed, but still very lumpy. When applied to the wall, it left thick gobs and lumps everywhere. I diluted with some water, that got it a bit smoother, but still left little lumps all over. Ended up diluting way more than recommended just to get it to a usable consistency that could at least be painted or rolled on. Maybe I just got a bad batch or something, but as it was, this stuff was awful.

This is a great product but the shipment was delayed which also caused a delay in my job. Time is money and it cost me. Happy with the product but when a supplier says it’s gonna be there on a certain date, it should be there. Instead I got notifications of delays from the original delivery date.

Used on new drywall in preparation for applying wallpaper. I didn't notice a smell. Applied easily with a small smooth roller. I also used the ROMAN PRO-838 paste to put up my wallpaper. Worked great!

Roman is king when it comes to wallpaper primer and the Pro-977 is the king product for steamy, humid bathroom wallpaper. That's a given - has been for years. My review is about delivery. OMG lol. The can looked like it went over Niagara Falls without the barrel! You have to give kudos to Roman's supplier for metal paint cans. That's some can to take this kind of a beating and not bust at the seams. Sure, Amazon put a piece of packaging tape over the cover to keep it on, but c'mon y'all. Put the can in spray-in packaging or bubble pack, or something. Sheesh! I used the product as is. Did not leak in transit. Product is awesome as usual.

Good product if you are putting wallpaper on a glass surface that needs primer for non-porous surfaces.
