Easy to use. Great results.I had to do a small area repair on a night table. It's made of a lift blonde wood and I needed to sand the top to remove some ugly staining. After sanding and cleaning the bare wood, I did a couple of light coats of this Minwax product and the results were great. It blended very well with the surrounding areas (no. I didn't refinish the entire top). It dried fast and left a nice, protective, semi-gloss finish.I love just about all Minwax wood finish products. Never got a poor result from any of their stain or finishing products.

Love the product. Works well for my application of treating a mdf top for my Bora centipede. Took away one star as the bottle I received dripped constantly from the tip during application.

I like to use the spray on small projects to minimize cleanup. This product works well. It sprays on nice, has the right amount of sheen, and holds up well. Cleanup us pretty easy with a little paint thinner, if you get it where it doesn't belong. I usually put what I am spraying in a box to minimize overspray.

We have replaced several oak railings in our home and used this with great success. I also fabricated a giant butcher block top desk for my wife's office and used this as a protective coating.After sanding the wood and filling any holes we stained the wood and let dry for several days. Then we applied (use a respirator and do outdoors) 3-4 light coats with the poly spray. At this point you need to come back with 600 or so grit sand paper and knock down and little nibs. Then wipe clean with tack cloth. Then we added about three more coats for the railings. For the desk we did a total of 10 coats for protection. When you put down the final coat things should be pretty darn smooth. However, you can take a brown paper grocery back and tear a piece off to use as a buffing agent. After rubbing the paper bag over the wood you will have a perfectly smooth finish.I have also used the brush on poly but find this easier to since its much easier to prevent any streaks or little air bubbles. I have read multiple reports of this poly flaking over time but our stair hand rails take a lot of abuse from our kids and there isn't a single scratch or issue with them. Just take the time to prep everything properly and you are golden.
