Is the triangular brace supposed to point up or down?

I used as shown point down at first. It did not ‘feel’ right so played with it and found the point up position allows two pressure points to fit in the ‘dimples’ and aligns the spine pressure points. This was a night/day difference and is amazing. I think it it a preference and since it is removable it is easy to find your ‘spot’ then velcro in place.

How tall is the front of brace, and how tall is the back of the brace?

The back of the brace is fixed at 9 inches, and the front of the brace depends on how much the ends are overlapped. I estimate the height to be between 6 and 8 inches based on my XXL brace.
