USB Solar Camping Light with Remote Control - Hanging Tent Light

Except value, fully charged and used for over six hours without problem. Excellent light coverage

Why didn't I buy these sooner? I used one to light a huge gazebo and the last man standing turned it off at 4am. The battery wasn't flat. I put it in the sun the next day and when I checked on it two hours later it was fully charged. This is my new "must have" camping item. Easy to use. Handy remote control so you can switch it on and off from the comfort of your sleeping bag. I was impressed how much light it puts out, the lowest setting is perfect for inside my tent. Lightweight but quite robust. The charging port has a cover, which I like.

I bought this light to take camping to use in my tent, I'm very impressed with it, the remote was brilliant being able to lay in bed and turn the light on or off and I also hung it in our marquee a few times when we needed some additional light. A few things bugged me. Brightness: I have a 4 man tent with a porch area you can stand in this is where I had the light hanging and found even on full brightness it still didn't light up the room that well I had to hang an additional light to see what I was doing some of the time so I would advise buying two to cover more area. Solar panel: I honestly don't know the point of having this, it's a really small panel on the top and doesn't really do much in a sense of charging the device. The light was charging from sunrise to sunset in the tent from the solar panel and I left it in direct sunlight for hours and didn't charge the device very much, I thought the panel would give it a top up in the day but no didn't make a dent. Battery life: I thought the battery life would be better as its only powering LED lights. I left the light on for about an hour every day in the evening and had to change it after two days even though it spent 24 hours charging with the solar panels everyday, this wasn't a problem for me as I had bought power banks for charging devices. Overall I was very impressed with the light I would definitely recommend it and will buy another one.

Great light. Easy portable. Long lasting on full charge

Illuminated my side awning brilliantly. The best part is the remote control. When you hang your light centrally, getting back in the dark would usually mean feeling your way to the centre, reaching up and fiddling for the on switch. Now I just keep the remote by the door zip and switch it on before even stepping in.

What can I say. This item does what it says it does very well. Having the remote to operate it was a bonus when using it in our awing. I have used it around the house as well and the solar panel helps get some decent charge back in after flattening the internal battery. Which is useful when away without power. Don’t expect to get huge amounts of power to charge your devices but it will provide enough to get you through to make emergency calls. Using it in our awing I charged after 3 nights of use but that is depending on light output and run time. After that I used the solar to charge it during the day and then reused it that night before charging it fully the day after.

I brought 3 of thes but one was faulty straight out of the box and would never charge via lead or solar . The two working ones are light weight and so can hang up easily. These do put out a decent amount of light , enough to read by if it were hung up close to you. Fairly quick to charge via cable but as a solar light it doesn’t seem to charge up fully or it is really slow . When I’ve charged them all day as solar lights they dim within 30mins and by 1 hr they are out . It would have been better if it was clear needed to charge fully by mains before it works as a solar light. Also would have been useful to know lights on the back should come on when charging.

Great item

A small and handy format. Haven't tedted it out yet .

Got another… handy to have.
