It is not officially nickel tested. 
The formulation of BioMagic Permanent Colour Cream is for a kinder and more gentle colouring experience.
Reactions to hair colourants can occur in the same way that some individuals can react to a variety of foods and natural substances.
For this reason for any hair dye, potential reactions can be detected by carrying out the Allergy Test 48 hours before you wish to use the product.
How to do a hair allergy test: 
Remove Earrings Behind the ear and use a cotton bud, apply a small quantity of mixed product sufficient to cover an area of 1-2cm2 (e.g. the size of a small coin). Leave for 48 hours without washing, covering or touching. If during this period you notice any abnormal reactions, such as itching, redness or swelling in or around the test area, do not apply the product.

How long does it have black colour?

Directions:
Use the protective gloves and timer. Mix dye and developer in a non-metallic bowl. Apply the mixture to DRY, unwashed hair STARTING with the NEW GROWTH ROOT area and let it for 20 minutes (for resistant greys leave on for extra 10 minutes). Then apply to the rest of the hair. Let develop for 10 minutes. If YOU CHANGE YOUR CURRENT COLOR, spread the dye from roots to tips. Let the dye sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water, shampoo your hair and apply conditioner.

Preparing for Colouring
 
The BioMagic Colour Cream should be applied on unwashed and DRY hair, so no need to wash the hair before
Divide your hair into four sections. Part your hair down the middle and then part your hair across from ear to ear. This will give you a total of four sections of hair. Use hair clips or ties to keep the sections apart (When applying the dye cream, you’ll work with one section at a time to ensure even colour application)

Pull on your protective gloves, and towel and apply petroleum jelly around your hairline. It’s a good idea to wear gloves when dyeing your hair so you don’t stain your fingers. You should also apply some petroleum jelly to your hairline, so the dye cream doesn’t stain it. This is a common tip that is often overlooked.
The dye cream boxes include gloves for your convenience.

You can also place an old towel over your shoulders so you don’t get dye on your clothing. Towels and newspapers work great for protecting your work surface, too.

Applying the Dye Cream

Please read the instruction sheet carefully before applying the product to your hair.
BioMagic permanent hair dyes are very easy to use. All you need to do is mix dye and developer in a non-metallic bowl (don’t forget to put on protective gloves first) and apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair using an applicator brush. Start at the roots and then spread the dye along the entire length of your hair.
  
Dye your first section of hair. Unclip the first section of hair and using your colour brush, apply the dye from root to tip. Use your brush to work the dye through your hair. Make sure each strand is fully saturated and that there’s an even coating of dye cream throughout the entire section.
Use your brush or gloved fingertips to smooth out any globs.

If your hair is thin, you should have no problem applying the dye evenly to the 4 sections. If you have thick hair, then you will likely need to divide each section into 2 or 4 more sections to apply the dye evenly.
Reclip your dyed hair and dye the next section. When you’ve finished applying an even coat of dye cream to one section of hair, re-clip it back into place and unclip the next section. Repeat the same dyeing process for each of your four divided sections of hair.

Set a timer and let your hair dye develop. Let BioMagic dye sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water, shampoo your hair and apply conditioner.
Rinse your hair with warm water. When you have let your hair sit for the required time, rinse it with warm water and shampoo. Finish off the process with a deep conditioner to make your new hair silky and smooth. Rinse the conditioner out of your hair with cool water to help lock in the dye.
