Time will tell…
I’ve spent a few days with this bag and it’s really good. However, I am not using it for photography (although I REALLY want to throw my Nikon in here). I got this bag because I needed a dedicated bag at work for my laptop and meters (I work datacom). My tool bag doesn’t have room for large cable qualifiers and I don’t need my tools as much as I need my testing equipment. Keeping those things in separate bags reduces the weight on my back when I roll on calls. So far, so good. The good: it’s MASSIVE. I have a Swissgear bag I thought was large. This is bigger. I can fit everything I need and then some in it. 15 inch laptop, 3 large meters, smaller tone arms, fiber tester, label maker, Makita air blower, the works. It’s insane what fits in this bag and it’s great how customizable it is. Everything is organized and everything has its place. It’s well padded and I put my meters on top so the hard shell on the outside helps against impacts. It has a place for everything and I’ve got things in most every place. The padding is quite nice and thick and I feel fairly confident my expensive meters and my laptop are well protected. The included rain cover is a nice touch. The materials are quite nice, not super durable feeling, but everything is well put together and nothing feels particularly cheap. I’m coming from a Klein backpack and a Veto bag though, so this just feels like a nice backpack rather than a piece of equipment. The bad: it’s massive. It takes up a lot of space and it’s very large on your back. Luckily, the straps are super adjustable so you can really dial in a perfect fit, but it will always be a giant backpack. You could do worse in the size department, but this is up there. The materials could be better, I feel like they might not be super durable and I’ll be after another bag eventually since I’m going to be using this bag hard. I also wish that camera backpacks stole a feature from tool backpack, the hard molded bottom. It’s an extra layer of waterproofing and protects the most damaging part of the bag from dirt, mud, water, abrasion. I feel like the little plastic strips on the bottom of this bag are a nice thought, but won’t be anywhere near as effective.

Perfect for the outdoorsman or professional photographer
Now, I'm no professional photographer, but I do own a Canon 30D with a 200mm Tamron lens, a 50mm lens, a 35mm Canon A1 film camera with a lens on it, and two other lenses for it as well. This backpack holds all of them perfectly with extra space for my film autowinder, extra rolls of film, and other extra little gear like tripod attachments, camera straps, and remotes. This thing is incredible. I got this backpack because I was tired of having camera equipment lying around because it wouldn't fit in my smaller bag. I wanted to be able to store everything in one spot and be able to know where everything is. I also wanted a backpack I can grow into, so I needed one with extra space for when I upgrade my camera body and buy additional lenses. This has everything and more. I had spinal fusion surgery a little under 5 years ago to correct scoliosis and I have 15 of my vertebrae fused. Ever since then, finding a backpack that doesn't cause me serious amounts of back pain has been a challenge, which sucks because I'm an avid hiker and carry heavy gear on those hikes. Because of the ability to adjust the tops of the straps on the backpack, as well as there being a chest strap and waist belt, I can have my backpack fully loaded, weighing well over 15 pounds, and I get zero back pain. Everything is fully adjustible, which is a dream. I also get a lot of neck pain because it is pretty much the only part of my spine I can move and bend, and there is always a lot of tension there. The included caribiner straps on the shoulder straps are amazing! I hook my film camera to it and it takes the weight off of my neck, which eliminates the need for a strap for it all together. I never would have thought of ever wanting something like that, but it was such a smart move. The laptop pocket is a little bit cramped when fully loaded, even for my 13 inch 2022 Macbook Air, which is already pretty slim, however I love the secrecy of where it's located and how to access it. The extra storage compartments within the backpack are amazing too, I keep extra Canon A1 batteries, film, and my CF card reader in those compartments. Though I haven't traveled with it just yet, I can already tell it will replace my regular backpack on more hiking centric trips. I can put both my film and digital cameras in the bottom compartment, and remove the top padding to put toiletries, clothes, and other electronic items in there. I think it would be too big to put under the seat on a plane, however it might on a bigger plane. If you're American, I definitely recommend having TSA pre-check so you don't have to unload this entire bag on the conveyer belt when in the security line, haha. The tripod slots on the side are incredibly smart. You can either put the legs into the cup holder itself, or there's a little pouch that comes out of the waist belt that can also hold the tripod legs. There are three ways of strapping it in that way, one clip strap at the top, and two adjustible ones at the middle and bottom. If you configure it correctly, you could also fit a gimble, gorilla pod, and even a drone on the side of this backpack. This configuration is on both sides of the backpack too, which is great if you want a gimble and a tripod, or a tripod and a drone, or anything you can think of. I haven't needed the extra waist bag, but it can hold an additional camera body plus a lens or two in it. It's great if you need the space, but I think it's a little bit extra for what I need the backpack for. Overall, this backpack is amazing quality and has amazing back support. I anticipate having no issues traveling with this, and it hold all of my equipment and then some. I highly recommend it for the photographer hobbyist, avid nature photographer, professionals, or anybody who just loves a good backpack (myself included). I didn't know a hybrid hiking / camera bag existed, but now I can reserve my 15L hiking backpack, with no padding for my camera (which I would literally just throw in there with a hoodie around it as padding), as a camping bag and just use this, which will keep my camera protected from myself and the elements. This thing also comes with a rain cover to make it fully waterproof. If you are considering other bags as an option, don't. You won't find anything better than this.

Finally found the perfect camera bag
This is my 4th camera bag, and I hope will be the last. My first one I held onto for several years, and I still like it. But it was missing several features like side pouches (which help with tripods, water bottles, etc). Just over a month ago I purchased another, while it was nice styling & construction, it was just too small. Perfect for smaller APS-C body & lens, not so much for full frame. First thing I did was tested this bag with 2x camera bodies (FF & APS-C), 200-600, 100-400, 35-150, 16-35mm lens....and I still had comfortable space putting in a spare batteries, action camera, misc accessories, and still had more room left! I had been traveling with a separate case just for the 200-600mm lens. My previous bag was always filled to the limits. The entire backpack itself is amazingly not heavy. I tried it on with full gear backed and was happy to find this is a bag I can travel with. The only con would be just a personal preference and something that does not mark against the bag; I would certainly not complain to have pockets on the side. The bag I recently purchased had full size pockets on the side with the pouches just outside of the pocket lid. Nice convenience that most will not care for, but if they added that in the future I would probably buy another. The extra small bag that inserts into the bottom section is easily attached to the backpack in the event lenses fill up that pocket. I realize that will be a nice addition to put smaller stuff in, and to have that with me at my seat on the plane (and not the whole backpack!). The bottom of the backpack does have some hardened rubberized strips which is nice. The biggest selling point to my previous primary bag was the hardened shell which allowed for setting it on the ground.

Amazing backpack, almost perfect!
The backpack is almost perfect, it's beautiful, has many compartments and pockets, seems very sturdy, and holds a lot of equipment. The fact that it's rigid (like a box) gives a great sense of security to protect your gear, and it also fits well on the body. But it's huge and heavy. Unfortunately, it won't work for me, mainly because I don't think it's accepted as personal item on several airlines, and I can't risk it. Sadly, I'll have to return it and look for something that fits me better. But if you don't have this problem, the backpack might be perfect for you.

Well made. Large size. Perfect for placement in the overhead on airplane
I’m impressed with the quality build of this backpack. It is quite well made, and has plenty of zippered compartments. I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered it, but I needed something new to replace my old backpack. I ordered the 27 L backpack, and when it arrived, I double checked the sizes to make sure I could take it aboard the airlines I fly here in the United States. It fits within their overhead requirements. Perfect. But I have a problem, the backpack doesn’t does not have a problem. I’m a very height challenged 5’1” tall, weigh 117 pounds, and really can’t lift any heavy item into the overhead luggage racks. Also, I’m in my late 70s, and I need something that will fit underneath the seat. I really wish I could use this 27 L backpack. It’s perfect with all its compartments and build strength. Because of my size, I then ordered the 15 L backpack. I saw in the complaints where somebody said it was too small. Well for me, that’s an advantage. It will carry the camera and lenses I need to have with me that doesn’t go into the checked through luggage. Thank you Tarion you’ve solved this problem for me.

Perfectly designed for 2 large Cameras + equipment
I have 2 cameras - Nikon D7500 w/18-300 zoom and Nikon Coolpix P1000. I have been searching long for a backpack that fits both, with cases and hoods, without having to disassemble the D7500. I also have 2 wide angle lenses (Nikkor) and associated filters, chargers, batteries, flash that need to be accomodated, as I usually travel with these. I bought and returned a few high-end backpacks (some with wheels), as despite their size and weight, they weren't designed well enough to accomodate all my gear. When I bought this, I was hopeful. However, when I opened the pack, I was dismayed by the compactness of the backpack, thinking that it could never hold all my gear. I am so pleasurably surprised at this bag - not only does it hold everything I have, there's room to spare. I am overwhelmed by the superb space planning that allows me to compartmentalize my two sets of cameras. The finishes are superlative and the backpack itself is a mere 1.5 kg. The dimensions on the listing (I bought the 'large', not the 'extra-large') is accurate. I am loving this backpack and this will be my go-to photography backpack for all my travel. Pros: 1. Exceptional space planning - allows me to stow 2 cameras (D7500 w/18-300 lens, Coolpix P1000), 2 additional lenses, Nikon flash, 4 pouches of filters, extra batteries, 3 small hard-cases full of remotes, cables, external hard-drive etc. and some small stuff. 2. Straps for carrying a tripod on the side (full-size or compact). 3. Exceptionally well designed, high quality workmanship and material. 4. Lightweight 5. Budget price - most of the other backpacks that offer space for 2 cams are at least $200+ and not so well designed - they are bulky, weighty and end of the day, its a squeeze to fit in 2 cameras like mine. 6. All in all - a perfect buy. Cons: 1. The only con (and I am stretching here) is that it doesn't have a strap at the bag to allow it to be stowed over a handluggage spinner. Its not a deal killer - I can use bungee cords to attach it. 2. No wheels, alas. Wheels would have made it perfect. I am using a lightweight folding travel trolly that I bought from Amazon (see my other reviews) that does the job. Summary - Love this bag and highly recommend it.

Quality bag - underseat flight compatable in US and Europe
I think this will be my go-to camera bag for travel. I previously purchased the same bag in 27L after a few reviewers suggested this could be considered a personal bag for underseat storage for plane travel. I have no idea how anyone is getting the 27L under a seat and I had to return it and exchange for a 15L. Although smaller, it will fit a camera body, several lenses, extra goodies, snacks, 15" laptop and many other things like chargers and batteries in many configurable compartments. The bag is well made, quality zippers with lock compatibility, lots of compartment organizers, and small pockets for cables, chargers, SD Cards, and other stuff.

If I Could Give It 20 Stars, I Would!
This bag is next level. The TARION Pro 2-in-1 camera backpack is hands down the best gear bag I’ve owned in years. It’s spacious, rugged, and brilliantly designed. The detachable smaller bag is genius — perfect for quick shoots without having to carry everything. Padding is excellent, compartments are customizable, and the overall build feels like it was made for field professionals. I’ve taken it on hikes, weddings, and sports events — it handles everything like a champ. Weather-resistant, comfortable to carry even fully loaded, and stylish enough to look sharp on the job. If you’re a serious photographer, don’t hesitate. This isn’t just a bag — it’s a mission-ready system.

Well built, good design.
I liked everything about it except for one feature the competing bag had going for it. The EVA hard shell is in the middle, which itself is fine as your primary camera sits behind it slightly, but I'm seldom whacked directly in the centre of the back and as the bag has wide set and stable plastic feet on the base, I don't see it falling over too easily or to warrant the case being there. Furthermore, it has webbing to allow it to not open fully, or much really, and with all of the compartments inside doesn't hold much. The bag I settled on has the EVA on the top (slanted at a 45), it's empty except for the lining and opens fully, using the collar of the main compartment to act as a table of sorts as well as a secure compartment closer to the back of my head which is where I get hit more often than not if not paying attention while shooting. Back to the bag at hand... Overall, the bags are virtually identical short of the colours used on the tabs and accents, of and this bag has a name printed inside liner on the main compartments. It's beautiful. The child bag is a great addition, but I mainly got it for travel via rail or ferry for walking trips. This bag allows full customization inside the main cavity. As i only have one camera and a couple of accessories I took the child bag out of the base and filled the compartment with clothes for the day or two trip, iPad in the back, camera up top and toiletries and cannabis goodies in the many supplementary compartments. Could use the child bag for a separate toiletries bag too depending on your trip and needs. Very versatile and well made, a buy!

Liczba zapięć i możliwości regulacji spora. Wersja z torbą z przodu i sposobem zaczepu do plecaka, odciążenia pleców rewelacyjna. Polecam.
