Saved my glass lamp!
My rabbit chewed on the cord of my glass lamp and I thought that replacing the cord would be too much trouble and I would have to donate it. I'm so glad I looked into replacing the cord! This was really easy. For real, you can do this. I had to watch a video to see how to disassemble the lamp, and then I was able to put in this new electric system with no problems. It took me an hour because I took my time and watched DIY videos, but it would only take 15 minutes if I was more prepared.

Incomplete assembly instructions, didn't work with led lightbulbs
Works great once you get it together! Used tjese kits to repair a couple vintage lamps. I do a lot of my own repairs, but did not find assembly to be completely intuitive and it's lacking decent instructions or a picture of the fully assembled product. The vintage ones had cardboard switch bases so I could not use those as an example to follow, so I had to try to find a similar type online. Once assembled, it worked great with regular lightbulbs but neither kit worked with the led bulbs we had. Not a big deal right now, just personal preference.

The right stuff
Rewire kit was just what I needed to rewire a very old lamp. Everything was in the kit.

A very useful repair kit.
I had used a similar lamp repair kit before many years ago. That and your instructions made the installation easy. The only problem that I had was that the wires needed to be further stripped and I didn’t have a wire stripper. I managed. The lamp that was repaired was one that was in my wife’s house when she was growing up. She was very pleased with the results and quite impressed with my “expertise”.

Good kit!
Was able to rewire the table lamp that’s been waiting to be fixed. All the parts were well made, fit together tightly and all needed pieces were included. Now thinking about doing another old lamp. Will buy again.

a simple item
as long as a simple item is well made it deserves high marks, this is a simple, old fashioned item, made with old fashion values. It is worth the money.
