Fresh flavor
This is the perfect sencha. Great flavor and arrives fresh. Not too grassy with great green tea notes

Green teaGreen too come on
The quality of the green tea is great, the color and the size of the bag, for its money is outstanding

A bit weak
Run out regular my fukamushi from Japan direct. So I got this chaganju tea, strange name. This tea is a bit weaker than my regular, so I need to use ~20% more. This is good tea, but not top class.

Great tea
Really good green tea for the price. The leaves unfold nicely in the tea strainer and there is a nice, really "earthy" flavor to the tea.

Very low quality tea for this price
As someone from Japan who grew up drinking green tea, I found this Fukamushi to be very low quality. Typically, this type of tea can be steeped several times, but this one didn’t hold up at all. I don think this is Fulamushi. While the company is based in Kyoto, the label fails to specify the actual origin of the tea leaves. Given the performance and lack of detail, it isn’t worth the price. Tea leaves were old, too. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Fresh
This is the best sencha I have found in the USA so far. Fresh sencha smell and sweet grassy taste

Fukamushi green tea
It is suggested in Japan that Fukamushi; deep or slow steamed green tea has less pesticide. Organic, Fukamushi would be much better.

Much more like decent sencha than fukamushicha
Fukamushi is one of my two favorite teas. But it's hard to find it organic--especially lately due to the tariffs. This specific tea brews up a golden cup, not characteristic green. But it offers a more mellow, less astringent taste you get from even good sencha tea. However, the taste is still midway between that of sencha and traditional fukamushi. You can find other, more traditional-tasting fukamushicha on Amazon, but almost no other organic versions. Given the tiny quantity you get, you might have to reorder frequently if you're a daily tea drinker. That's why I'm back looking for fukamushi after just buying this pouch of tea just a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to wait to see if more organic fukamushi arrives in the next month or two.
