Tea Zone Chewy Tapioca Boba - Bag (6 lbs)

I like TeaZone products I’ve tried in the past but have been using another common Amazon brand of Boba for the 5-minute ‘instant’ boil feature. Having still strived for that perfect restaurant style cup of boba, I decided to try this new variety - plus it was maybe half the cost of the other at the time. This was all the difference! Great flavor, great texture. I don’t have to overdo the brown sugar syrup because they’re already flavored. Pros: Best boba I’ve tried for home. Cons: A little bit fragile / mooshy. I guess that goes along with being fresh and made of starch. Also wet - get some desiccant packs and an airtight container. Also the 30 min cooking time; I tried 20 with my first run and they were too tough still. Just make more of them to compensate for the wait!

The texture of these pearls... amazing! Perfectly chewy, every single one! They arrived very well packaged and super fresh. Less than 1 tablespoon of crumbs in the entire bag. They are very delicate due to the freshness, but even if they had crumbled a little more, these were totally worth buying because of the simple ingredients. They are not loaded with chemicals like the instant or quick cooking pearls. For perfectly chewy "QQ", sweet bobas, the recipe is below: -Boil 8 cups of water -Add 1 cup boba to the boiling water, stir until floating. -Cover, reduce heat to medium and boil 15 mins. Stir every few minutes. -Drain boba and rinse with HOT water, set aside. -Boil 1 cup dark brown sugar with 1 cup water. -Add hot boba, cover, and boil on medium heat for another 15 mins. Stir to avoid sticking to the pot. -Remove from heat and keep them warm until used. ***Adding cold liquids while hot will ruin these,ot makes them harden very quickly. Make sure to use within 2 hours for best results.

Terrible product!!! I just received this today and before the bag was even opened, you could see it was crushed. You could also see moisture droplets through the bag. When I opened it and pinched one of the pearls, it crushed between my fingers. There's no way I could ever use this! I'm mad there is a "No Return" policy for this product for me to even get my money back!! What a complete waste!! I will NEVER order this brand again!!

Chewy and better than some shops! Here is some expectation setting: The bag was not vacuum sealed. 20% was disintegrated There is moisture in the bag which I assume is from the maple syrup. It took me 15 min to sift powder from the balls. Takes 1+ hours to prepare It is made in Taiwan and doesn't have the wacky ingredients like ones from China (boba is a Taiwanese drink) It tastes amazing and has great chewy texture. Even with 20% powder, there are a ton of servings left over.

These are better than the quick cooking boba, and more “natural”. They take longer to cook but have much better flavor and texture than the quick cooking bobas. There is some crumbling of the boba in the package but we just handle carefully when storing and scooping out to cook and it’s not too bad. Just know that you will have some powder/crumbles left in bag. Still worth it for better taste and better ingredients.

They have the perfect texture and size. The best part would be their smell. They were delivered without any damage. I keep them in an air-tight container. The brand says to use within 3 days of opening, but I don't think it would go bad as long as you keep it in an air-tight container and use it within a few months. They're also fairly quick to make and pretty easy to preserve. For every 1/2 cup of uncooked boba, I boil about 600ml of water. I cook them for about 15 minutes. Then I add about 1tbsp of brown sugar to the drained boba. For one serving of milk tea I would use about 1/4 cup of boba. They may not look like a lot before you cook them but they expand and 1/4-1/2cup is more than enough for one serving of milk tea.

UPDATE: The seller responded quickly and issued a refund. They stand behind their product, would buy from them again. 3 Stars since I wasn't able to try the actual product. Package arrived today and on time but looks like it isn't sealed properly. The pearls are soggy and there is condensation in bag and they are smushy. I have not opened it but I can smell them through the bag. Normally these are dry and coated in starch so they don't stick together. Contacted seller. I'll update review after hearing from them.

This was a very good product. My kids and I love Boba, but you can imagine how much it cost a family of 6 to go out for Boba. The package is vacuum sealed. In my opinion there weren't many broken balls or much waste. We made what we needed and put the rest in Ziplock bags in the freezer. The product seemed fresh even after being frozen. I would definitely recommened this product.

Corta muy corta caducidad del producto. Deberían cuidar ese detalle.

El producto llega en muy malas condiciones hecho polvo no me agrado 😞
