Fantastic
I recently got a new induction stove and looked at the shiny, perfect surface. I admired it. I touched it. I wiped off the fingerprint because man, it is NOT fingerprint resistant. I looked nervously at my collection of cast iron cookware, and back at the stove, channeled my best Gandalf and exclaimed, "YOU SHALL NOT SCRATCH" So here we are. I bought a set of these Lazy K cooktop mats, 3 of them in two sizes. I still need a fourth for the smallest element but I couldn't find a matching one in that size. Knowing how good these mats are now that I've used them for a couple of months, I'll be ordering another small one and just centering it over the element. It'll be too big but I trust this product now. I've tried to pay attention to the instructions saying that you shouldn't use these with the heat on high for an extended period. "Extended period" is a bit vague, but I've had the stove on max power for several minutes while boiling a pot of water and there were no ill-effects. So I'm pretty convinced that I don't need to be overly cautious with these. I expect that there's probably a small difference in heating time when using these mats, primarily because you're increasing the distance between the pan and the magnetic element by putting the mat between them. I haven't run any comparisons yet, but I don't think the difference has been noticeable to me. Cleaning them is pretty simple, a quick scrub with a brush and a little dish soap does the trick, or if I'm about to run the dishwasher I'll just throw them in there and they come out perfect. The radial lines in the design are slightly raised, which allows a small amount of airflow on either side and helps with minimizing the heat radiating back into the stove. It seems to work well, the stove surface is noticeably cooler right after removing a pan. It's still hot, but less likely to burn, and the surface is easily touchable after less than a minute. The mats leave no permanent marks. And they work great as a trivet when you need one quickly. I love these mats, they're an excellent idea for anyone that loves cast iron but doesn't want to mess up their glass induction top.

So far so good
Our induction heat goes between 5 and 9, and then the rapid boil. At 8 the cooktop mat did great. No discoloration (on the mat or stove) or smell. I would be leary trying the boil function and probably wont try that. I do really like that the mat is not sticky as another I had purchased (different supplier) was. The pan doesnt slide around as much and the heat seemed to be even; i do think that has a lot to do with your pan though. As long as you have an actual induction, not the electric glass top, I would recommend and I will be buying more.

Works perfectly!
I went from a gas range to electric when moving. I upgraded the old range that came with our house to an induction cooktop since it cooks almost like a gas range does. It’s actually better, but that’s a different review. These silicone protectors are a lifesaver for anyone as picky as me about how their cooktop looks and lasts. I use these every single time a pan touches the burner. Every time. I don’t have a single scratch on my glass top and I’ve been using it for two years. I recently ordered a second set of these to stow away in case anything ever happens to my original set. They wash easily and hold up well. I can’t recommend them enough! Buy them, you won’t be disappointed!

PADS MELT WHEN USED WITH CAST IRON GRIDDLE
The listing says these pads are compatible with cast iron. However, from my experience, NEVER use these pads with cast iron. I had my induction cooktop set to medium ( about 6-7) using a cast iron comal (griddle) to roast peppers. I put a small amount of oil in the pan when I heated up the comal so that it was not dry. Peppers roasted nicely. All seemed fine until I removed the pan and pad and saw that the pad had left a big scorch mark on the cooktop. I was able to buff off the mark with a microfiber cloth and cooktop cleaner, but there are still some faint marks left by the raised ribs of the pad. Prior to this, the cooktop was pristine! When I went to wash the pad, I realized the raised ribs were crumbling. I only had the pad for three months and had to toss it. I have bought these pads before -- and did have one of them start to fail almost immediately, but it did not mar the cooktop. I thought it defective and replaced it and haven't had a problem with them until now. I generally use these pads with Demeyere induction stainless steel and Le Creuset enameled cast iron dutch ovens without any problem, but learned the hard way that THESE PADS SHOULD NEVER BE USED WITH an uncoated cast iron comal/griddle shape. The flat cast iron keeps getting hotter and will melt these pads.

Holds your pan in place..
This mat protects the induction glass, however, it does slow the magnetic heating process. We purchased this mat to hold the pans in place so they don’t slide on the cooktop. Perfect for that!

Works for Samsung with Anti-Scratch Glass Cooktop
Been using for about 2 months, works well on my Samsung Bespoke Slide-in Induction Range, with the "Anti-Scratch Glass Cooktop." You can see in the photo that I ordered 2 of the "Lazy K" and 2 cheaper ones. I like both, but prefer the "Lazy K" because they're thicker and don't appear like an after-market accessory. I will point out that the "Lazy K" ones did leave white marks the first 1 or 2 times that I used them which came off without too much trouble. I was concerned but it has no longer happened so I'm guessing there was a substance on the surface for manufacturing or shipping.

Utilizing a cast iron pot for pepper chicken (my 1st test) proved successful, with the cooktop mat remaining intact and undamaged. The 'LAZY K' cooktop mat was a sound investment, effectively preventing scratches and grease transfer from the pan to the induction hob. Post-cooking cleanup was significantly reduced, and the mat also prevented the pot from shifting on the smooth induction surface. Important safety considerations: Do not exceed the mat's maximum heat resistance of 480°F (248°C) when using cast iron cookware, and avoid prolonged use on high heat settings..

This has been great for keeping our cast iron wok from scratching our glass induction cooktop. We've had it for about a year now; works great and no discernible effect on heating rate or cooking efficacy.

You know the pain of having scratches on your induction hob surfaces? Use this and you can say goodbye to scratches, great heat transfer and can also be used as a mat for your hot pot of soup on the dinner table. Cheap and durable and super fast delivery if you are an Amazon Prime member.

So I went for these on I think a YouTube review. Compared with others I knew they would be a better quality. I chose a mixture of sizes to suit my use. Large ring and small ring plus two large squares if I need to take something out the oven as useless previously finding space. They look more of a light grey on the photos but are a charcoal grey and not as noticeable. Yes it was pretty much £25 each so £100 for all four purchased but I’m happy these will last. Had on high heat, seems not to have any heat loss that I’ve noticed. Perfect for my induction hob. Also makes easier to clean as they wipe down easy. Obviously need to be careful but with pan off it does recognise as no pan on the hob so cools down properly. Happy I paid the money. Suppose didn’t need all four but thought to take a tray out the oven and have a hob on at same time I can use for purpose. All hobs, no problem.
