Radians MR0160ID Safety Glasses, Multi

These are extremely light and feel great when I’m working. I can see perfectly with them. Furthermore, I think I look cool on them, at least is what my wife says, hahaha. These are really comfortable and don’t move while I’m working. The quality so far impeccable.

these are always great for indoor / outdoor use. hold up well to scratches, blocks the view of your eyes but you can still see fine. effectively knocks out some glare in the sun too

I was taking down a limb that had been damaged by the drought in Texas while I was trying to figure out how to review this product. I was wearing the glasses at the time because you can never be too careful when it comes to your eyes. I mean, they seem well made. The lenses are not scratched or cloudy and afford good vision. They fit me well and are pretty comfortable. But short of getting hit in the face by a kick-backed 2x4 at the table saw you never know what kind of impact these glasses could withstand. While these glasses are by no means flimsy I doubt they could survive that kind of impact there is no way I could check them for that. Then it hit me. Literally. I kept getting slapped in the face by wayward limbs and branches from the tree I was cutting down and the glasses did a good job of protecting my eyes from the hits I was taking as well as from the sawdust I was creating. They were unscathed from scratching limbs and the side protection kept dust and debris from reaching my eyes. They seem an inexpensive solution where you do not anticipate heavy impacts and just need basic eye protection. I don't know how well they would protect against corrosive liquids or high velocity impacts but if you're looking for decent basic eye protection these should work just fine.

I almost have these a lower than 3 stars because they aren't even close to what the illustration shows do they will be no good for me at all indoors . The reason I didn't go lower was they will be just fine for outdoors though that's not what I bought them for . I'll just use them for cutting grass or something instead of at work. At the price paid it's not worth bothering to send back and get a refund . They're ok comfortable but I will not even pretend that these can be all day comfort . 0 padding anywhere . Hard plastic only . There's no safety info anywhere so I'm going to suggest to anyone who needs documentation or proof that these are ANSI , or any other standard , look somewhere else . For the cheap asking price it's no surprise . I got them for dust blocking only , nothing sharp or destructive coming at my eyes . As I said these will be something I may use for cutting grass .

One of the pictures in the description mentions metal frames. But the framing is just plastc and very flimsy in the center. Would not recommend using for safe eye protection.
