What size should I order for my door, and can I cut it to fit?

Measure door width and height from the edge of the back plate to the bottom of the door before purchase to pick the right size. The polycarbonate is easily cut with scissors for custom fitting. The material is 1mm thick but flexible and cuts cleanly.

How do I properly install this product?

Clean the door surface first. Cut around handles using scissors if needed. Apply adhesive dots along the edge of the protector. Attach it to the door. Wait 24 hours for maximum bond strength. The detailed user manual comes with the product.

What type of adhesive system does this product use, and will it damage my door?

The door protector uses upgraded clear 3M adhesive dots (not velcro) that provide a strong hold on clean, smooth surfaces at 40-100°F temperatures. The adhesive is designed and tested to be safely removable from most, including painted surfaces.

Will this product hold up in outdoor conditions and direct sunlight?

This door protector works best indoors or in covered outdoor areas. Direct sunlight and temperatures above 100°F can cause adhesive failure. For outdoor use, install on shaded sides of doors or use small screws with washers for secure installation.

How strong is this product - will it withstand large dogs or persistent scratchers?

The protector works well for all breeds and withstands heavy scratchers. The thick polycarbonate resists punctures from typical dog claws. Many dogs stop scratching once they feel the plastic texture. For best results, combine with proper training.
