Wonderful cookies

Cookies with great grandma
I love these cookies. they remind me of my great grandmother. I think the best thing about them is that each one taste exactly the same. all the difference in looks, colors, is all cosmetic. The flavor of each cookie is exactly the same, so the only difference is what you imagine in your head. I like that.

What is this?
This package of Lady Stella cookies contained 3 rather large odd, shaped nuggets of very hard baked cookie dough. They were not edible even when soaked in hot coffee. I have never had a bad experience with Sella Doro cookies; they are always delicious and never too sweet; I am sure this was just a fluke missed by quality control.

Stella D’oro leaves a bitter taste for the 40+ Italian-American set…
Used to love these but the quality continues to drop. They are now cut wrong, lack flavor, the texture is off to where they taste more like a pressed dried powder mix than any kind of baked cookie & the sprinkles AND pink icing are long gone. You’ll get scant, incorrectly applied white icing - if anything - and it will all taste TOO dry & BAD!!! ☹️👎🏼

Our favorite Italian cookies! Great with coffee or hot cocoa. They are fresh and very flavorful. Reminds me of my childhood.
