Amazing how these things work!!
3rd edit (August 7): I rarely touch these traps...but I think the pheromone is somehow on me now. The past three times I went to Kroger, I was followed by two or three pantry moths that must have hatched in the store. This is an unexpected turn of events. I so rarely see them in my home, but I can't escape them in a giant grocery store. That's a pretty good indication of how strong the pheromones are in these traps. 2nd edit: It's been just over two months (July 3rd today) since we started using these traps. I just received my 3rd 8 pack and I'm interested to see how long it takes to fill them up or if I even get that many. There are very few flying around anymore and I assume they are females. We swat them when we see them. The 16 traps I used prior to today were all filled with moths by the time I disposed of them. Despite not seeing much activity, I want to give it at least one more round of fresh traps before I call the problem fixed. Though I imagine I will still keep some out to prevent reinfestation (new ones tend to show up in my dry goods). I think these are a solid investment if you have a pantry moth problem. The male moths are drawn to them like a candle flame. Just a suggestion to those dealing with this problem, also invest in sealed storage containers. Amazon has some great sets with a good rubber seal. I put all my cereals, rices, flours, sugar, etc. in them and it's helping prevent further infestations. I've also been freezing new dried goods as they come into my home. I have sushi rice and corn meal in the freezer as I write this. I leave them in there for a week before putting them in the sealed containers to kill any offending critters (I did not freeze my previous bag of sushi rice and it was infested with pantry moths inside the sealed container. They couldn't get out and while I was able to kill them all, I didn't want to use the rice after that). I also have a big bag of Turkish bay leaves that I spread on shelves and in drawers that hold food/spices. I read somewhere that they don't like bay leaves and it appears to be true. These moths (and even weevils) also like to get into boxes of Mac and cheese, pasta, boxed stuffing, rice-a-roni, etc. Freeze them all and seal them up. Edit to add: two days later and the traps are full of moths. So the sticky part works! We have been dealing with pantry moths off and on for years. We will get it under control and then one day they come back. It's always been confined to our kitchen...until this year. They moved into the living room and have taken over, driving us crazy. I feel like I'm killing 5+ a day. I just got these traps a few hours ago and only opened them within the last 30 minutes. I can't attest to how well they actually trap the moths, but the pheromones work! I was most skeptical about that part. I had just removed one of the papers off the sticky part and was swarmed by pantry moths. They are usually hiding in my curtains and we generally only see two or three aloft at any given time. I was surrounded at one point with close to ten hovering around me. One walked into a trap and got stuck, but two others were able to escape the sticky trap. So I'm not sure how well the sticky parts are going to work. But it brings them out of hiding. My husband and I were able to kill most of them just by luring them out of hiding. That alone makes these traps worth it. My second line of defense are some plug in traps that I'm waiting for. Hoping between the two products, we can get rid of this problem once and for all.

“The Traps That Ended My Moth Drama
“After weeks of fighting pantry moths, these traps became my final weapon. They started catching moths immediately, and now my kitchen is finally at peace. Only an occasional wanderer shows up once in a while. These traps work, they last, and they helped me win the entire war. I strongly recommend them — they truly make a difference, and I’ll keep buying them again and again.”

These trap the adult male moths by luring them into glue with pheromones. They work very well.
These work well for capturing the adult male pantry moths, aka "Indian Meal Moths". We live in Central Florida and these moths can be a problem here. The larvae can burrow through paper and plastic bags and containers to infest food. So first you will want to check the items in your pantry or cupboards, items like flour, dried fruit, sugar, nuts, dog treats, anything that is not in a well-sealed glass or hard plastic container. The concept with these traps is that they attract the male moths with pheromones (of female moths "In heat") that lure the males looking to find a mate to reproduce. The pheromones are imbedded in a very sticky glue, so when the males land inside the trap to check out the hot moth babes they are smelling, the glue traps them and that's the end for them. The traps are easy to put together. They come in a pack of 8, with 2 traps per foil bag. You just open the bag, take out a trap, which is a piece of cardboard with printing on one side, and pheromone glue on the other side. Peel the plastic sheet liner off the glue side, and fold the trap into a triangle, lock it by placing the tab through the slot, and place it where the moths have been seen. In our case, I placed them on pantry shelves and in cupboards. It was actually shocking the number of moths the traps caught, nearly covered the glue in some of them. The adult moths live a short time and their only purpose is to reproduce by mating and laying eggs in food items. It's remarkable how fast they can reproduce when they can find food to lay their eggs in. The larvae spin some sort of spidery cocoon in the food item before hatching into adult moths. So go through your pantry and cupboard, look in plastic and paper bags, and where you see the spidery cocoon and food sticking together, that's where the moth factories are that are leading to the infestation.

Takes some time to work [Updated Review]
Update - 10.10.23: I have updated my review (and title) and improved the score because it has begun to trap moths. I was surprised to see four dead moths trapped this morning when I was looking in the pantry. I'm assuming it must take some time for the moths to find it. We've had the traps out for about a week and a half now and we're starting to see results. I think exercising patience will be necessary to get the most out of this product. Happy to update my review with positive news; I'm still docking 1 star because I think the setup instructions could be reversed with better success, but otherwise the trap works as described. Purchased these based on many positive reviews. Had an outbreak of pantry moths and larvae in a closet as a result of contaminated bird seed. Be aware that opening the package and following the directions led to one folding over on itself, self-attaching to the adhesive. The adhesive is quite strong (in terms of sticking to itself, but not moths in my experience) so this first trap had to be discarded. We reversed the steps - folded the trap, *then* removed the protective seal on the adhesive - with better results. We have yet to catch any moths with the trap after a week or so. I actually had a moth flying in the air that I coaxed into the trap just to see if it would stick, but it landed on the adhesive and escaped with no problem. Other people may have better luck with these based on reviews, but I found these to be useless. It neither seems to attract the moths nor catches them in the sticky adhesive. 2 out of 5 stars for me.

Great product and comment section!
Just wanted to say these are absolutely great at catching moths. I had a small infestation that was starting to get a little out of control and in a few weeks this and some cleaning started to clear them up. Those pesky moths managed to find a new breeding ground though in a place in my pantry where I hadn’t looked for in a long time since I don’t ever need anything from there. After a few days of dozens of these nasty things being caught by this product I decided to come back here to the comment section. Reading the comments made me realize just how much will these things have to stay alive. I was getting worried they were breeding in my clothes. Thus I finally found where their refuge was and I threw everything away and cleaned with clorox. Will clean the rest as it’s 1am and I’m exhausted.

Highly effective, but remember to be patient (and clean your pantry!)
Dealing with pantry moths is incredibly frustrating, so I wanted to share exactly how these worked for me. After noticing a few of those little brown moths fluttering around the kitchen, I quickly realized we had an issue in our dry goods. I picked up these traps hoping for an easy solution. Setup is straightforward—you just peel off the protective paper, fold the cardboard into a small triangle, and set it on the shelf. There’s no chemical smell at all, which is a major plus since I’m placing these right next to where we store our food. Here’s the thing to keep in mind: these traps use pheromones, which means they specifically attract the male moths. Within the first hour of setting one out, I already had a handful stuck to the glue. It was both satisfying and a little gross to see how many were actually hiding in the cabinets. Over the next few days, the trap filled up significantly. However, you have to be patient. Because the trap only targets males, it takes a few weeks to completely break the breeding cycle. You still have to do the heavy lifting of throwing out any infested flour, grains, or snacks, and giving your shelves a deep clean. These traps won't magically solve the problem if you leave the source sitting there. Pros: Very easy to assemble and discreet enough to tuck into a corner. Odorless and pesticide-free around food. The attractant works almost immediately on adult males. Cons: The cardboard is a little flimsy, so it can easily get knocked over if you bump it while reaching for groceries. Overall, if you’re dealing with a pantry moth problem, these are a fantastic tool to monitor the infestation and stop the cycle. Just make sure you pair them with a thorough pantry clean-out.

Made my job easier
These were great! I just moved into a house that had been sitting since November ‘25 and was surprised by pantry moths everywhere but in the pantry. It was crazy. I also have very high ceilings so they were really out of reach and hiding. These traps caught SOOO MANY of them. It was actually a bit disgusting tbh lol. There’s no odor with these. I like that they sort of set up into a tent and you can easily throw it away when done with touching them. I put them in areas that was close to the problem area, but sort of out of sight since I know they like to hide. I’m on my third box and haven’t had any in the traps in the last 3 days so I’m assuming the issue is resolved! I’m confident about it going out take mane a couple that came out of hiding finally. I’d definitely say to get these

Didn't work for the type of moths I had but did for plant gnats!
Never caught a moth in these (and I had moth issues a few years back) but they were amazing for snagging those little gnat-like bugs that sometimes come with a new plant or new potting soil. They were everywhere in my house. I put a few of these near the plants and within 2 weeks the traps were filled with the little bugs. Haven't seen a single bug in a year!
