Milwaukee’s best!
If you aren’t from Milwaukee, you might not know this brand, but you should! This is made in small batches with a fire brewing process and their ingredients include raw Wisconsin honey (there are some artificial ingredients, though). It’s just a fabulous root beer that has a crave-able flavor. Our guests can’t get enough of it!

One of the best root beers I have ever tasted!
Sprecher was founded in 1985 and they reside in Glendale, Wisconsin. They are very active in their community providing tours, shows, festivals, etc. They use raw Wisconsin honey in their brew and come in 16 ounce, rather than 12 ounce bottles. The bottles are well designed. You know, many of these root beers have unique names and come with some pretty well designed bottles and Sprecher is definitely one of them. Root beer aficionados tend to really enjoy this RB. On pouring there is sparkling effervescence and a head that is what I expect from a root beer and did not get much of in the other RBs. It lasts a while too. The taste is amazing. I taste wintergreen, licorice, and vanilla cream. It is smooth and has a creamy body to it. The taste is pronounced and not light. It coats the mouth and leaves an aftertaste that is no different than the flavors you encounter when first sipping. The aftertaste lasts a while. I absolutely love how long and wonderful the taste is.It is definitely sweet but not quite at the level of a candy which is something I was attentive to based on other reviews of different root beers I have read. I would not only buy this again, I would look for it. I give this a 98 out of 100…and that is being conservative. Get this if you see it in a store,it will be cheaper. For us folks that can’t get it locally…this is a great opportunity!

Very smooth
Very smooth mild root beer. Like to sip an ice-cold bottle from time to time. Can be found much cheaper elsewhere.

Sprecher Root Beer
I absolutely love it! I meant to drink half yesterday, then the other half today. Well, that didnt work out:) This is my idea of what a root beer should taste like

33%more liquid 330% more in price.
far too expensive, no head, little carbonation, and too sweet. the taste is good but i can't get past the 3 and a half bucks a bottle. the label says stuff like kraft root beer and fire brew, well, i paid for the ride and so I've had the experience. not worth the ride. boy do i miss hires.

My favorite. They showed up intact. Best over butter pecan ice cream.

Not much punch, very sweet
Compared to other brands, this does not have the typical root beer burst of flavor. It’s very sweet (50g of sugar). The carbonation is on the low end. Has a honey and other sweetening agents type of flavor. This was not very well liked in my home. We lean more toward Abita, IBC, Bundaberg, and even Stewart’s. Also, the shipping wasn’t the greatest due to packaging. Had open bottles upon arrival.
