This works great on our doors. Super easy to use because of the flexible material it is made out of. You can put it anywhere on the door. We use it on doors ( we actually have several ) to keep our cat from getting locked in closets he likes to sleep in:) They are super durable and you can use it on the top or side of the door. It is great from a safety standpoint knowing our cat is not locked in anywhere when we leave the house!

So far this was survived in my kindergarten classroom. I share a bathroom with another classroom. We have a tiny, connected hallway. My door is too heavy for some of my students to open and because another classroom is connected, I can't keep it propped open. I've had this for months and it's worked. I do try to switch it around every once in a while, so one spot isn't constantly getting pressure.

These things are great! I had them for doors when my children were young, now I have them to keep doors from trapping my kitties in rooms.

I needed something to keep my office door propped open - it drives me insane that it closes automatically. I use this on the top of the door near the doorjamb and it keeps the door about halfway open! I wasn't sure how it would work because it seemed most reviews just wanted it kept open 2-4 inches to prevent finger pinching, but I'm pleased to say it works to keep the door propped open further, too. My door is incredibly thick (2+ inches), but it stays on well and is easy to put up and take down. I can adjust where it is on the top of the door to determine how far the door stays open. I haven't had a problem with it popping off the door even though my door is so thick.

Works as intended to keep interior doors from closing. I use it to allow my cat access to the laundry room and his litter box and to keep the door from latching closed.

Before this, my toddler treated doors like a sport—slam, cry, repeat. Enter the Pinch Protector, aka my new best friend. Got this to keep my cats from getting stuck in rooms! I installed it on the top of the door - the closer to the jamb, the wider the door stays open. I was able to make it so the door stayed open wide enough for a very chubby cat to pass thru with no issues! It sometimes needs adjusting because it can eventually get knocked loose when it’s installed on the top, but all in all I’m very satisfied with it. Have bought two for other people!

This has worked very well at preventing my toddler grandsons from getting their fingers shut in their bedroom door they like to open and close when playing. I think it works better when used on the side of the door instead of the top.

Pretty cool little device for preventing kids from slamming fingers in a door or in my case, to keep a door from closing so my cat can access the basement for the litter box. It can sit on the top of the door or the side- easy to put on and on my white door, doesn’t look terrible as it kinda blends in. No tools required.

great product. Don't crush or flip off door, like soft foam ones do, when it slams shut in wind. Have bought a couple. would definitely buy again.

We use this to prop the basement door open so the cat can access her litter. Works great!

Perfect for preventing door slamming and/or getting fingers pinched. Hard enough that it fit on the door and stays, but soft enough that it does not damage the door or door frame. Very easy to apply and remove.
