I am happy. We planted a Rubilini/Pigmy Date Palm in 2002. It was 2 ft. tall. It is now taller than our roof. I trim it twice a year. We have 10 others so this will get lots of use. I had begun to accept that the tallest part would have to be omitted. I'm a happy 70 woman. Ladders are out of the question. Well, this trimmer is the answer to my dilemma. It's a little tricky to use because of the length, balancing, but it's lightweight so manageable. Good tool.

This trimmer is exactly what I needed. My crabapple tree gets small, dead branches and this not only clips them off easily, it reaches to the top of the tree! So easy to use. I haven't attached the saw blade yet, but I haven't needed to. It's there if I need it. The pole extends so far but isn't too heavy to hold up. It seems to be well made, too. Love it!

We have an unusual, tall-and-shaped tree that needed trimming to keep its look. Rather than calling someone to come out & paying them $300 for *one* job, we got this ($100) & an extendable tree trimmer ($200). We’re getting ready to trim it again for a 3rd time, so this & the other tool have already paid for themselves. Part of me wishes this thing extended even more, but so far it’s been a really great find, especially for more of a “niche” product. It’s sharp, it’s easy to use, and not super heavy to lift & maneuver. What’d be even more helpful is if it had a little camera at the top so you could see what you’re trimming more clearly—but that would take away from the great price.

So flexible that I was able to trim/cut branches be it at 8 feet to as high as 20 feet (including my height and arm extension), and did so in an easy manner.

This product is very good. If you wanna catch something from long-distance, the blade is really sharp it can cut pretty much anything this one. This is one of the must get product.

Great tool for shaping the Japanese plum tree. a bit challenging to use when fully extended but effective.

For my needs to trim off high flowering young tips this cutter is absolutely perfect. I'm amazed how the internal rod telescopes back and forth in its tub. Previously, I've been using the old standard hook and rope cutter which is almost cave-man like compared to his one (although the old cutter does have more cutting capacity). I am soo happy I bought this tool. The squeeze handle operation is so quick and easy to use. Where have you been all my life?

This is my third extendable pruner. I may be done looking. This one is light, easy to maneuver, and adjust. The shaft slide cutter models tended to come off the limbs when engaging the cut especially on a long reach. This one is just position and a quick snip. The shaft also rotates which I found helpful on long reaches. If it holds up over time I couldn't be happier.
