Uni Ball One, Gel Ink 0.38mm Ballpoint Pen, 8 Colors Set (UMNS388C)

I loved these pens for journaling. I enjoyed all the different colors and the general quality of the pens. I could use certain colors to help get a seasonal or holiday visual for the month. They have a nice, fine point for writing small, if needed. They did not bleed through the paper. The ink flow is smooth and does not skip or fail to lay down. I did not have any problems with the ink drying time, either. I like that the tip retracts. I also like the easy grip surface of the lower portion of the barrel. The only problem is that I wish they sold sets of multi-colored refills. Journaling uses quite a bit of ink, and I sure do not like to just dispose of the whole pen when the ink runs out. That is not environmentally friendly. And, it will be confusing to just put say blue or black refills in all pens that have different colored tops.

This might be my new favorite ballpoint/gel pen! I loved everything about it: packaging, sleek design, colors, weight - everything is so well thought! As a leftie, I struggle with smudges and bleeding, and I’m happy to report the ink dries incredibly fast, and there wasn’t any bleeding ( I tested the pens on a post it pad). I can’t speak on skipping yet, but I am confident it will perform well during long writing sessions.

These pens are bomb. I love them so much. I love the precision with the .38 mm and it’s a clicky pen!!! It writes so smooth. The design has a fidget built in so you don’t have to annoy people. They have not smeared once, but I haven’t ran a highlighter over it yet.

They are pretty good pens. I love the design. There is some skipping so I have to scribble a bit before using them ( however that might be because they are still new) there is no bleeding just slight ghosting and rippling on my stalogy notebook ( which is really thin paper, so it would be good on normal paper). The colors are nice and vibrant.

These pens come in nice colors. The level of pigment in each color is perfectly opague, not see through or weak. At .38, the ballpoint tips are very fine and serve their purpose well when it comes to having to write in small spaces or your particular handwriting style is to write in very small print. This also makes them perfect for writing notes in the margins of your favorite book or Bible.

I LOVE these pens! Smooth writing, great color, which helps me organize my daily work. The .38 ballpoint helps when I have to write small and clear. As a teacher, these are part of my go to supplies. Yes, I have to buy my own supplies and this is why I want quality, great prices (when on a sale) and the colors. The colors add another layer of organization throughout my day.

Summary: The pens are not satisfying to use. They write incredibly thin and light which is not what I prefer. They are nice looking and well made but they don't write vibrantly. If you like a smooth application with a comfortable grip, I would not recommend these pens. They are very compact so maybe they're good for saving space. Details: I purchased these after researching what pen I should buy. This company is highly rated and popular but I think these just werent for me. I didn't notice the point size until I started using them and I think these just write too thinly. They not only write with an incredibly thin/light point but the pens themselves are shorter than a standard pen length. Positives are: the design is sleek and looks good. The colors are nice as well.

The ink felt really smooth on paper. Glides very easily. Fast drying and does not smudge easily. If you prefer a heavier/sturdier pen, they have the a few options with heavier bodies. I prefer those for prolonged writing. This set is great for making notes, annotating, even drawing. Will buy again.
