This gaff will be a nice addition to my fishing tool out on the water, it’s telescopic and light.

Seems smaller and lighter duty than advertised, but the proof will be when we go to gaff a tuna in the summer.

Used on a 30 lb blue cat. Worked great. No issues wouldn’t have got it on the boat otherwise.

Bad product. The hook detached from the handle and fell into the bottom of the ocean on the first day of use.

I purchased this gaff for Kayak fishing Love how small it reduces. I read most of the reviews so I squirted some hot glue into the threads prior to installing the gaff hook. I found it stayed locked... did great on bay area halibut

I hooked into a 30ish pound black fin tuna and gaffed it and the gaff immediately broke into two pieces and the tuna swam away with the other half of the gaff still in it.

Seems to be well built and holds up to gaffing 20+lb fish with no bending noticed. I will say that you definitely need to rinse off thoroughly after salt water use because I am seeing rust on mine even after the first use.
