This game was a hit!
Most games the kids play and get over quickly. Not this one. It keeps the whole family competitively entertained. My only complaint is that the blades break easy. This game is not at all for rowdy, or rough kids. It won't last 1 use. I had to get a replacement because the first one broke. I did notice the first unit flew high and hit the ceiling and would almost "crash land" back to the floor we were forced to play on due to it's high flight. The second (replacement) unit flew appropriately half the height of the first and the battery lasted twice as long. This has led to more fun and no damage. Again, this game is not for uncivilized kids, or those too young to handle items with care. This game is comparable to "hungry hungry hippos" but not really if that makes sense. The drone charges a lot faster with an external wall charger and last abut 19-23 flies before requiring a 20min wall charge. The charging base does not keep up with charging at all during gameplay. The drone WILL due die during use. Not sure if it were dure to the dollar store batteries, but I left the drone on base overnight, and it killed the drone battery. Perhaps I would have gotten better results charging with the base if I didn't use dollar tree batteries, but I will never know. It's free and fast to use a wall charger. Did I mention that this is a waste of money if your kids are prone to breaking things?

Terrific for kids and adults!
Drone Home: An outstanding fun game for both kids and adults! It generates a wonderful semblance of energy, excitement, competitiveness, suspense & laughter for everyone. The game is easily assembled, kids >7 yrs can do it. The base for the drone requires 4 triple AAA batteries (we just use rechargeable so it lasts many hours and then some). The drone requires charging, comes with a USB charging cable that gives a full charge within 30min. Once charged the family of kids and adults were able to play up to 30min+ before the next charging of the drone. Kids (boys and girls) and the adults all had terrific times taking turns sending the aliens to space! Once the drone is sent up, someone should be ready to catch it on the decent. It’s ok if missed as it happened to us, the propellers seemed to be fairly flexible yet sturdy for misses. It did not seem to have damaged the drone with occasional missed catches. ***UPDATE*** This is an addendum to the previous review. We enjoyed this game with the family/friends/adults and kids so much that we made a 2nd purchase recently. We are looking to gift it away during the holidays!

Fun, creative, would like longer charge time and kids that don't break everything
Very fun, but read on. This game has 4 arms extending from the base, each of which has a flipper at the end, which you use to flick squarish balls into the center part. If you get it into the "spaceship", it hesitates a few seconds, (which gives other players a chance to knock that ball out with their own before it rises), rises up about 2 feet then comes back down and whoever has gotten their 3 balls up first wins. I thought it was great fun and very creative. I gave it a 4 because the spaceship runs out of charge after about 20 minutes, which was disappointing, and then has to be recharged, interrupting the game. It is best to reach up and easily catch the bottom of the spaceship as it comes down or it comes down and flops all over, hitting players with its plastic rotors whch stings. It comes with 2 extra circular rings which sit above the rotors, so they obviously can be replaced, but I do not know how long they last or how sturdy they are. In the first 5 minutes one kid smashed both hands on the flipper which of course broke it. I figured that was not the manufacturer's fault so I ordered a second one so that we would have extra parts to replace the arm, one of the balls that has disappeared and have 2 spaceships to double the playing time, which would have worked except for the kid who pulled apart one of the spaceships to see how it worked. So if you have those kids that seem to break everything they touch, they may break this quite easily. So, unfortunately you will have to rely on those who don't have those types of kids, or play it with older kids to tell you how sturdy the game is and how long it lasts. We were playing with 6, 8 10 year old boys and an adult which were maybe just too young for it. And the short charge time is irritating.

So fun!
This is a delightful game! It probably won't last long with rambunctious kids who get so excited over it, but what a novel idea. I had so much fun with my grandsons playing this. The drone really flies, and the tension is high as each person tries to get their 'alien' into the spaceship before it launches. I haven't had so much fun since I was a kid. Evidently, there are two versions of the drone - one has an adjustable screw underneath that can be rotated to change the height that the drone flies. The older model does not have such an adjustment available. I do not know how to tell which version you are buying. Neither of the two games I've purchased had such a screw, even though the instructions refer to it. I called customer service and found out that there was a difference. I have loved the older version and haven't regretted buying it at all, but if it's important to you to have such an option, I'd inquire as to which you are ordering. Mine both have a 2021 date on the box.

Drone keeps breaking or not flying
My family LOVES this game. The first time we bought it, the drone broke after the second launch. We bought the game once again because we couldn't fine just the drone replacement. The second drone lasted a few rounds but is broken now, we did everything the directions told us to.. stay away from things, don't use outdoors, make sure there's plenty of room for the drone to fly.... All of that. But it still didn't last, and I don't want to buy the same game soo many times for one piece... Unfortunately the piece we need to play and keep the kids happy

Simple yet fun game.
This game is fairly simple and basic. But it's surprisingly fun. My whole family has been have a great time playing it. My 11 year old wanted it and loves it. It's not a game that you'll play for hours at a time, but we've taken it out many times and keep coming back to it. The quality seems decent enough. The drone flies pretty high when fully charged. Plus you have the added fun of trying to catch it as it comes down. You do need a little bit of open space for this. I recommend it.

Simple, fast paced, fun
This is a great game, was not expecting the entire family to get in the action. The concept is simple, launch your little aliens to the center "drone". When a critter is onboard the drone is activated, but it takes a few seconds before launch. The other players can and do knock each others aliens out of the drone before and even sometimes after takeoff. Other times another one catches a ride as a hitchhiker. We came up with some house rules to ensure consistency in how edge cases are handled. Play this game in a location where the little aliens won't get lost under a couch - they go flying as the mad race to the drone unfolds. The drone holds a good charge and while it could be fragile if you have smaller kids (under 7) or pets, under normal play the parts are sufficiently durable.
