Works well!
Good printer. Too expensive. Easy to configure but I’m an IT pro. I can’t imaging store owners trying to configure this thing on their network.... IT WORKS for Grubhub, UBEREATS AND POSTMATES. Doesn’t work for DOORDASH because they want BT type connection, but that’s a whole other story why DD has to charge for a cellular connection when the other three simply relies on Wi-Fi. Wasteful and redundant.... Sorry for the side track.

Works with Clover Station 2018
Bought this to test as an Order printer with a Clover Station 2018. Clover says the only printer that works is the Star SP700 impact printer. I needed a thermal printer so took a chance on this one. It has a bit of a lag time compared to the SP700, but it does work! It came up and "No Communication" or something similar at first, but after I fired a test receipt to it, its been working flawlessly.

Time and cost saver
We have planning to make this investment for a while but we could not decide which brand/model to buy. Star Micronics is simply the best!

Drivers are junk
We had older Star Micronics receipt impact printer that failed after 9 years. Thought upgrade to new thermal model by same OEM would be easy -- not! Drivers are incompatible with Win10. Defeated our local IT support and that of our CIS software vendor. Returned and purchased a Munbyn thermal printer instead, and it has been working great for a year.
