The first package of 2 small white cable locks sent by Amazon would not unlock at 0000 or any other combinations of numbers. So I wrote to the email address, [email protected], on the cardboard at the top of the soft bag package. To my pleasant surprise, the owner of the small family business selling the locks through Amazon responded to me almost immediately. After giving him some information, including coding numbers on a sticker attached to the package, he determined that the package I received from Amazon was not new. The locks had been returned to Amazon by a prior buyer who had opened but restapled closed the package to look new and unopened. The locks inside were stuck closed, having been changed to an unknown combination other than 0000. I told the seller I was leaving on a trip in just a few days and needed the locks to secure a medicine cabinet for safety because the person housesitting while I was gone has young children. He arranged to have a second package with new locks shipped to me by expedited means at no cost to me. The locks arrived less than 2 days after I contacted him. I am totally pleased with the locks. The soft white cover material blends with and protects my cabinets. The cable is thicker than most other locks this size. The instructions to change the combination from 0000 are easy to follow. The locks work great with my custom combination. The cables secure my medicine cabinets perfectly. This sell represents the highest level of honesty and integrity and deserves being used by anyone needing the well-designed cable and other locks he sells.

Bought to keep the goblins out of my refrigerator. Quality was better then expected for the price (9.99usd). It fits how it should and doesn't look bad with stainless/black. The combination is very easy to change and the number wheels are fairly big and easy to turn and they click into position so there's no guess work involved. Seems pretty solid overall. I have no issue recommending this refrigerator lock and if I needed another one I'd feel comfortable purchasing this item again.

I thought this item was pretty good and it lasted almost 2 years before it started having issues, but I'm not happy it started acting up. We did not seek a replacement from the seller because there were some things about it my elderly mother with arthritic hands didn't care for, so I just started looking for a new one. The design on this one was a little hard for Mom to manage. She was always putting it on upside down and then misreading the numbers, and the numbers weren't easy for her to rotate with her fingers. They would sort of catch and they are small. It tended to pop open on its own before you mixed the numbers, which just adds to the dexterity issues. The new one we got is by the same maker but is a different design and we like it better (Fridge Max Cable Lock). I'm a little wary now that it will last because of our experience with this one, but we'll see.

These work very well

This lock should not be sold by Amazon or anyone at all. Mine was used as a lock to my refgirator. Worked well only for 4 days and then malfuntioned and failed to unlock. There is no any instructions to fix this problem. I have to order a cable cutter to open my refgirator door. What a garbage product. And the worst is no customer service #

This lock is wonderful. I purchased for my liquor cabinet. It's easy to use and the lock is very durable. It comes with a key instead of a combination which I love even better. It fits great around the door handles which makes it easy to install and remove. I would recommend purchasing.

Easy to set up the combination these are attractive and blend well with my white decor just make sure your handles have around a 1 inch gap.
