BANDAI Hobby HG Orphans 1/144 Graze Kai Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans Model Kit

Very easy to assemble. Clean design. Fun to put together.

Many of the HG Iron Blooded Orphans kits have aged a bit poorly as straight builds, it’s a little infamous how floppy those kits can get over time. This is my first time building an HG:IBO grunt kit and I’m glad to say it doesn’t have that issue. The inner frame is solid and there are a lot of good details like gray cables, bars and faux piston details. And yellow stickers that go in some places. There are a lot of places where the inner frame is visible like the body and back of the legs. The aesthetic is clearly a mechanical and realistic mech, with the camera-style head and the body that seems like an armored frame. Despite that, the flexibility and ability to pull off poses is very good. The knees and elbows bend as much as you would want. The ankle is very flexible side-to-side. And the arms can pivot forward from the body on a hinge. Even the head can turn all around and look up and down decently. This kit comes with a large axe that comes as just one piece. You can slide it in the hand to hold or attach it to either side skirt hard point for storage. Great feature. I haven’t tried to attach other things, but I’m sure that’s possible too. The gun that this kit comes with also clips into the bottom of the forearm when it’s being held in the hand for a very secure connection. Aesthetically this model kit looks great as a straight-build. There aren’t any panel line details though, with mostly smooth armor plates. If you want to add extra detail, I recommend adding some decal stickers and painting parts of the inter frame.

Pretty good, some obvious stress marks, but lines and cleans up nice.

love the design of the head but the green color doesnt fit with the white area above so i painted it red and white. Leg articulation is limited, most Gundam figures i have can bend their legs for over 90 degree but this one isn't.

Child loved this opened it and put it together as soon as it arrived

今、鉄血のオルフェンスのプラモデルを作り始めて、特にお気に入りの昭弘のプラモデルを買って、グシオンリベイクフルシティは作って昭弘の様に体格が良くお気に入りで、次に、このプラモデルを作り終わって、スタイルも良く、色使いも良く、グシオンリベイクフルシティより組み立ても簡単で、駆動に関しても問題無く、買って良かったです。

Bought to practise painting and construction on before I tackle a more expensive Tsugumori from Knights of Sidonia. I have fingers more akin to your average Gundam and this was really fiddly but I assembled it without too much picking up of small stuff on the carpet! Built straight from the box this little 130mm or 5 inch model is impressively posable. No glue is needed and it is nice built straight using the supplied stickers. I do wonder about the high heels though! Nice price for a nice kit.

Very well made model. Easy to make with 2 well done weapons. Easy to pose and overall very fun to pose with other things like the Monoeye. I very much like how articulent the model is, and how flexible it can be. Very impressive kit, especially for a High Grade.

昭弘・オルトランドが駆る、グレイズの鹵獲改修機。 オーリスとクランクが乗っていたグレイズの使える部分を継ぎ足し、鉄華団で独自に改修した部分は白い装甲になっています。 この白い装甲が格好良く、ザク的なポジションだったグレイズが、顔や肩等の変更だけでジム的な雰囲気へと見事に変わっています。 基本的な仕様はグレイズ(一般/指揮官機)と変わっておらず、新規の装甲も可動を制限する物はないので相変わらず良く動きます。 武器のライフルやアックスも付いています。 追加された背部のバーニアは大きく上下に可動。 グレイズ改には付いていませんが、グレイズ(一般/指揮官機)の地上用バーニア(腰に付ける方)との相性がかなり良く、腰のバーニアを跳ね上げる事で3連バーニアの様に出来たりします(腰の可動は無くなりますが)。 一般機を持っている人は是非試してみて下さい。 劇中では早速オプションセット2の肩アーマー&バズーカも使用していましたが、こちらも相性抜群です。 シンプルで出来が良く、拡張性も高い良キットだと思います。
