Are there any plastic parts which come into contact with the hot water?

There shouldn’t be unless you count the lid while pouring but even then it doesn’t really

Why are there white particles after boiling and water sitting there for not even 1 day? What are these particles?

Hard water can make that happen. I cleaned mine every night with white vinegar to ensure it was clean and sterile for use the next day. I believe the instructions for that are in the manual. Hope this helps!
