Vibram FiveFingers Shoe, Women's V-trail 2.0 Trail Running

A bit expensive due to brand name, but good quality, great fit even for wider foot and durable due to thicker sole. I recommend it!

The sizing chart is incorrect. I ordered size 5.5/6UK but they are tiny. I then looked at the sizing chart which has this size as equivalent to EU size 36, which is incorrect. I am normally EU 39. According to their chart, I would have to order 7/7.5 UK.

De muy buena calidad con instrucciones para hacer la transición a barefoot. Quizá el dedo meñique está demasiado abierto y es el más complicado de acostumbrar. En mi caso los utilizo para el gimnasio para incorporarlos poco a poco a mis días de pierna (sentadillas y pesos muertos) quizá los movimientos más difíciles son los activos como los desplantes Todos se te estarán viendo como alien por un tiempo ya después se acostumbran, no te harán incrementar tus pesos pero yo los quiero para mejorar la propiocepción en los pies en tales movimientos aunque si me cansan la parte de los metatarsos después de un par de horas

My 13 year old daughter usually wears a size 4 and we ordered a similar pair from the same brand but in a kids size 5 and they were quite a bit too small which was weird so we ordered these in a women’s 7-7.5 and they fit great but just not quite the right shape. The 1st 3 toes are about the same length which isn’t the shape of her foot but she still wears them and loves them.

I had to get these because I wore through the soles of my previous Vibrams over the course of 1.5 years of trail running in forest/mountain terrain. The fit is snug all around with socks, except that the toes are slightly longer than I need them to be. I might have small toes. Although I was hoping to rebuy the exact same shoes again, these (V-Train 2.0) have turned out to be slightly superior with no regressions to complain about so far. I've been trail running in the new shoes for a few weeks now, I'm going to guess 100 to 200 km or so. They are great in the forest or on textured rubber track, but terrible on asphalt and other perfectly solid smooth surfaces, just like the previous thin-soled toe shoes. They also work as water shoes. So, I would highly recommend them for running and playing on natural surfaces, but I would not recommend them for running on paved city paths, boardwalks or for basketball. I can see that the ruggedness of the shoe has been increased in several ways, but none of that will matter if I wear through the sole as quickly as I did to the previous Vibrams; my previous shoes had no significant damage other than sole wear at the balls of the feet. Having said that, the rubber seems slightly harder in the new shoes, and that feels good.

Ich trage schon seit mehr als 10 Jahren Vibram Fivefingers und hatte seitdem schon etwa ein Dutzend Modelle im Einsatz. Zu diesem hier kam ich eher zufällig. Eigentlich hatte sich meine Frau Vivobarefoot Schuhe zum Geburtstag gewünscht. Als Laufschuh und Alternative zu ihren Fivefingers, wenn das Wetter schlecht ist. Denn eins sind Fivefingers definitiv nicht: Wasserfest. Leider haben ihr die Vivobarefoot beim Tragen nicht gefallen und nach etwas Recherche landete sie dann doch wieder bei Fivefingers. Konkret bei den V-Train 2.0 in der Herren-Variante. Von diesen war sie so begeistert, dass ich sie mir auch direkt bestellt habe. :-) Die Sohle ist etwas dicker und weniger "gefühlsecht" als bei meinen bisherigen Favoriten den E-LX oder SEEYA. Gerade bei Läufen auf Schotterwegen ist das allerdings ziemlich praktisch, denn da muss man mit den ganz dünnsohligen Modellen schon sehr genau schauen wo und wie man aufsetzt. Mit den V-Train 2.0 ist das sehr viel entspannter und man kann auch problemlos mal direkt auf einen spitzen Stein treten. Wer nur auf Waldwegen oder Asphalt unterwegs ist und größtmöglichen Minimalismus sucht, ist insb. mit den E-LX besser bedient. Wer aber auf wechselnden Untergründen und Trails läuft, für den sind die V-Train 2.0 eine grandiose Wahl. Denn trotz der etwas robusteren Sohle sind Sohle und Schuh noch extrem flexibel, die Zehen können (wie bei allen Fivefingers) super spreizen und man hat automatisch eine natürliche Laufform über Forder- und Mittelfuß. Der Halt in diesem Modell ist hervorragend, wenngleich fürs Joggen meiner Meinung nach unnötig. Da tun es auch die Modelle ohne bzw. mit eher loser Schnürung. Zum Klettern oder für schnelle Richtungswechsel ist der feste Sitz aber durchaus praktisch. Außerdem fühlt es sich am Fuß wirklich erstaunlich gut an. Alles in allem bin ich von diesem Modell wirklich begeistert. Es fällt allerdings etwas klein aus (so wie auch der E-LX), was man ggf. bei der Größenwahl berücksichtigen sollte. Davon abgesehen aber eine klare Kaufempfehlung als super bequemer und klasse verarbeiteter "Allrounder" mit (für Zehenschuhe) moderater Dämpfung.
