REVIX Microwavable Heating Pad for Neck Shoulders & Back, Moist Heat, Gray

Love this! The weight is perfect to keep it in place and to help the heat penetrate where you need it. I use it mostly for my upper back but I recently discovered it’s great for diverticulitis flares or other stomach discomfort. The moist heat is more effective than a heating pad. I’ve now bought several of them and everyone who uses it, loves it.

Generally speaking, I am very pleased with the REVIX Microwavable Heating Pad. It does what it is advertised to do. The Pro's: I found that it holds it's heat fairly well. You get about 15 minutes of good heat out of it. I know that some complain about it not holding the heat longer. For me, I don't want the heat on more than maybe 15 or 20 minutes, so it works well for me. It does not need to be plugged into to electricity to work. This allows you the freedom of using it almost anywhere. The Con's: The initial heat is very soothing. However, after that initial heat, if you are laying on this pad or your are leaning against it in a chair,, once the heat dissipates, then you start to feel the hard stones in the pad and you will feel how lumpy it is. This becomes uncomfortable in a short period of time. Important facts: Stick with the time recommended in the instructions for heating. The instructions tell you to increase the time by 60 seconds if the initial time of 2 minutes is not enough. I found the 30 seconds is a better number. However, I have found that in my 1000 watt microwave, the recommended time of 2 minutes is quite adequate. You don't want it too hot so as to burn your body. Also equally important, once you heat it up per the instructions, you are cautioned NOT to reheat the pad for 2 hours. For this reason, I bought a second heating pad for times when a 2 hour wait is too long.

For my mom. It can be cooled in freezer, but my mom prefers the heat. We heat the blue furry wrap for only 30 seconds in her powerful microwave and first place a pillow case over her shoulders so that it does not touch her skin bc she makes it clear how she feels about that. I experimented with the length of time needed by 2 second increments. (Note: It does not feel hot to me, but it does to her!) We have used the wrap for a week or so. At first it was too heavy, but soon she felt relief. If she didn’t enjoy it she would not let us place it on her shoulders just to be polite, no way! I don’t know how long the initial heat lasts because it does not seem to matter to her. The weight and the contents seem to actually provide moisture for deep healing as well as heat to relax her shoulders. Now she welcomes the placement of the wrap, but because of its weight, she also feels relief when we remove it! We’re very satisfied with this purchase.

Fits great and very comfortable. Purchased this for my adult son who has been going to a chiropractor for neck and shoulder pain. He had been using a standard "rice bag" for applying local warmth but it would always slide off unless he was sitting absolutely still. We weren't expecting it to be as good as it is. This one fits perfectly and he can wear it while walking around and sitting at his computer. Holds the heat great and really helps sooth his aches, especially after a chiro session.

First of all, I purchased this heat pad at like 2am because I couldn’t sleep my back was hurting so bad! It was delivered the next day by 3 PM. The pad heats up in two minutes in the microwave and last about 30 minutes before I need to reheat it. There is no weird smell, and the material is super super soft! The size and the design are perfect it covers your neck, your shoulders and your upper back and does not fall off. I would highly recommend this product.

After spending a small fortune on heat/cool pads for my neck and shoulders over the years, someone recommended this product. I bought it reluctantly, expecting it to slide right off my shoulders like all the others to live in the aches-and-pains-product fail box. I was surprised to find that it has a nice contour and is heavy enough to stay on my neck and shoulders even if I am moving around. It comes up over my neck to cover my sub-occipital area, cradling my head in warmth that feels wonderful. It is very soft and comfortable as well, adding to its snuggle capacity. You can use it warm or cold. In fact I think I will go heat it up and drape it over my shoulders right now, and maybe make some hot chocolate too.

I suffer from a sore/tight neck. This "shawl" has been a godsend! I even use it when I am cold to warm up quickly. Cannot say enough positive things about it.

This is brilliant! I suffer with chronic neck and shoulder pain which i feel was brought on by forward head posture from being a gamer. It's brilliant. Get one!

Love this product. Nice big size, heavy, and very comfortable. Feels so nice with the heat. It radiates heat very evenly, relieves pain, and loosens stiff muscles. Provides comforting warmth for a good hour, certainly as long as I need it to and it stays in place throughout. Very nice quality product, highly recommended.
