Samsonite Centric 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Black, Checked-Large 28-Inch

This is a great case. It survived a 10 day trip to Japan with about 40lbs of luggage and a duffle bag on top of it. It rolls great over rough terrain. I put a few miles on mine and it held up great. It has plenty of space. I recommend it if you're on a budget.

Just got off a 7 day cruise to Alaska, and decided I needed a suitcase upgrade, as my old 2 wheel duffel would barely close on the contents, returning. The Samsonite arrived intact, big and beautiful, just as pictured. The wheels, locks, extendable handle and zippers all work smoothly, so am good to go. I've read the surface scratches, which is disappointing, but a hard case that doesn't simply does not exist, I think, as the reviews on all the other models noted they did, as well, so just have to live with it, I guess. As long as it remains in one piece, and contains the contents, with working wheels and zippers, I'll be satisfied. The lock system seems a little fragile, just being the zipper tips inserted into holes, with a latching bar running thru it. However, it's not a concern for me, as my duffel had no lock, and I never pack anything other than clothes, toiletries and a book or two, so not a prime target for potential thievery, I think. Overall, I really like it, at this point. I'm hopefully traveling to Kenya in February, and will return to edit this review when I return.

Very nice luggage easy to roll seems good quality. Only just got it so we’ll see how it holds up to the airlines. Lol

Used this for many travel trips and works so perfectly for packing for a multiple days and room for the toiletries bag and shoes. We are buying this for our son because it’s a great deal

This is a wonderful suitcase. I brought it to Europe for two weeks & I got compliment after compliment. I was able to fit all of my clothes & have plenty of room for gifts. The lock gave me piece of mind that it is harder to break into. Plus, the wheels are amazing! That’s one of the most important pieces I look for in luggage & I found it. The suitcase did scratch a little bit from being thrown around in baggage claim & such but it still looks wonderful! I’m hoping to get the rest of the set soon!

I have had luck with Samsonite luggage for years now so I purchased this on in the color black for a family trip for my toddler. Upon arrival to the first destination, to my dismay, I found that one of the side bumpers had come off and two sharp screws that were previously attaching such bumper were poking through the side of the suitcase. Unfortunately, I realized this only as it was piercing through the skin on my dads chest as he was lifting the bag from off the carousel. This is outright dangerous! I am very upset that this suitcase did not even make one full trip before breaking, furthermore it left some nasty piercings on my father who is a senior. I’m not ok with this! I would not recommend this suitcase to anyone.

I found this steal on prime day and I am in love with it!! I needed a large piece of luggage to bring with me on a mission trip to rural Virginia and it was perfect! It’s high quality and lightweight with lots of space and perfect for a week long getaway. The Emerald green allows me to quickly find it in a sea of black luggage. My favorite part is how high quality and secure the straps are. Definitely a 5/5!

It’s large enough to pack for 2 weeks worth if you really needed to. The separate top compartment is perfect for shoes, underwear, socks and a toiletry bag. Finally, the design just looks good and the purple orchid color makes it very easy to spot in baggage claim.

Love it! Used for a recent trip (by air) and aside from a few scratches, it stood up perfectly. It’s extremely sturdy and well made. Has a zipper closure for one half along with a pocket for miscellaneous stuff. Worth the price. Don’t believe the negative reviews, I didn’t and don’t regret it one bit!

The quality wasn’t adequate to the price tag. It was cheap plastic. Not recommend.
