This works! Mozzies love me on holiday, and at home, so I gave this a try. This pen is very easy and quick to use, small so fits into a small bag when travelling. It gets very hot (not suitable for young kids) but you only need to use it for 3 seconds at a time and it stops the itching, which is amazing! You probably need to reuse after six hours, but the bite disappears very quickly! My skin got a bit red but the bite and redness faded after a couple of days. I would definitely recommend this. It works quickly and is helpful for the middle of the night when your bites are bothering you! Pricey but worth it!

I react badly to mosquito bites. This tool works to get rid of the itch. It does hurt to use but it’s a satisfying kind of pain that gets rid of the itch. I don’t think it heals the bites faster but as you’re not itching you don’t care as much. I’d never be without one on holiday now!

I may not be the most handsome guy in the world, but mosquitoes think I am utterly delicious. I can't seem to attract a human mate, but whilst mosquitoes exist, I will never be alone. Yes, I really did win those awards. Last year I was even a centrefold... I am covered in a very different kind of "love bite". Hey, they say love hurts, right? I was very sceptical that this product would help - I've tried the "clicker" ones which produce a mild electric current, which feel like a rubber band being slapped against the bite, but apart from slightly electrocuting me, these left the bites feeling just as sore and itchy as before. So, electrocuting myself doesn't help. Antihistamine creams give the bites a lovely sheen and seem to bring out that attractive redness, so I look like I'm covered in greasy boils, but they don't do anything for the itching either. So, understand I was sceptical that a device which heated my skin for a few seconds was going to do anything, but hey, I am a single middle-aged male who can only get mosquitoes to come anywhere near me, so I have spare cash to waste on more useless gadgets. I don't spend it on dates. The thing is though, this little gadget pretty much works. It won't cure your bite magically, but it does calm down the itching and reduce the swelling a little. You can use it for 3 seconds or 6 seconds, but I am a very hardcore, rugged bloke (yeah right, I wouldn't be single if I was) so I went straight for the 6. Anyone impressed yet? Date? No? You turn it on with a tiny switch, which seems unnecessarily tiny, even to a bloke like me... Seriously, it fine for me but it's very small and and it's white on a white background so could be easier to use. Once it's switched on, a single click gives you 3 seconds, a double click gives you 6 seconds. Same principle as a computer mouse, but more awkward because you're holding it at an angle on your skin with one hand and trying to do a quick double-click with the other. Someone else doing it for you would help here, but this presents obvious problems for someone like me. Bitter, I? Anyway, it's hot but not unbearably so and it's all over quite quickly (oh dear, I am just handing people the lines now aren't I?) It could be redesigned to be easier to use, especially for people who are covered in mosquito bites and so, like me, may have difficulty in getting other humans to approach them. It is the bites that's the reason. I believe that. I need to believe that. Anyway, seriously. A couple of ease of use niggles aside, this product works to reduce itching and swelling from insect bites. It cools down very quickly and is compact and easy to store. If you are as attractive to mosquitoes as I am, whether or not fellow humans feel the same about you, it's worth a look.

Great product definitely worked for me. Thought it would be pai ful to use but it was just slightly uncomfortable. Definitely worth the money

Because this was a bit pricey I was a little dubious about buying but another day and night continually having to scratch bites made me decide to give it a go. Some reviews have said it did nothing so here is what I found in my case. It had little effect on bites that were a couple of days old (this is when I ordered.)you know the ones...they still itch two weeks later. But when I used it as soon as the bite was evident (a couple of days ago now) it worked straight away and (touch wood) I am still blissfully itch free. I have put before and after pics of the bites which are normally swollen for a good few days. On some bites I had to repeat a couple of more times if they started itching again once more ..a day or so later and it stopped the itching. You can feel it when applying..but it's fine once you know what to expect and it does work but like I said it may take a few zaps to fully work but its far better than any bug creams I've used previously. I recommend based on my experience...at the very least it is worth trying..its a blessing because it works. I hope my review has been helpful to fellow sufferers!

Really unsure about this product. On some of the bites it works really well on others not at all. Don't ask me why I wish I knew. With regards to pain on application sometimes it hurts like hell and other times not. Can't blame the product for that it's obviously depending on the sort of bite I guess. Value for money - at the time I paid £20 for this not sure I'd call that a good deal for the hitting miss ratio. Also again not the products fault someone to help you with hard to reach areas you can have to suffer the pain. If you can get this at a lower price around £15 then it's worth giving it a go but at the 20 pound Mark not too sure.

Does the job.Instant relief. I am a magnet to anything flying by who needs a snack. Seemed a little expensive for such a tiny bit of equipment, but worth every penny. No messy creams to stain clothes.

Not impressed with this. My daughter with 35 bites this summer was hoping it would give her some relief, but alas it just gave her a shock as it was super hot but no relief from the itching. I would have sent it back but window had closed by the time we got back from summer. Don’t waste your money!

Nota di usabilità sulle 2 modalità: Il dispositivo prevede 3 secondi per pelli sensibili (LED arancione) e 6 secondi per pelli normali (LED rosa/viola). Per passare ai 6 secondi bisogna appoggiarlo alla pelle (si accende l'arancione), allontanarlo rapidamente di poco e rimetterlo subito a contatto. Il timing è stretto e all'inizio serve qualche tentativo. 💡 Consiglio pratico: i 3 secondi bastano nell'80% dei casi. Voor mij werkt het. Veilig in gebruik, zelfs als het een gevoel geeft van verbranden veroorzaakt het geen brandwonden of enig letsel. Soms is enkele keren na elkaar behandelen nodig, maar dan blijft de jeuk permanent of langere tijd weg. Veel efficiënter dan dure zalfjes en gel die geen soelaas brengen. Tip! Bestel een familiepak. ;-)

Un invento maravilloso. Yo soy de esas personas que cuando me pica un bicho, se me hincha mucho toda la zona y me pica muchísimo. Pues casualidades de la vida, hablando con un vecino de bungalow de camping me dice que su exmujer usa este aparato para las picaduras, y que el picor desaparece, y que ya no usa ni medicamentos ni cremas ni nada. Sinceramente no le creí, pero era tal su entusiasmo que me dije, "que diablos, voy a comprarlo", y que MARAVILLA, pero MARAVILLA. El picor desaparece para picaduras normales, no estamos hablando de una picadura de casi 10cm (como una que tengo, jaja), y la quemazón que se siente en la piel durante 3 segundos (a mí no me hace falta usar la quemazón de 5 segundos) es molesta y parece que puede quemar, pero se aguanta bien y merece la pena soportarla, y si en el primer chute de quemazón no deja de picar, te aplicas otro y listo. Va con 2 pilas AAA, y como he dicho con 2 posiciones de quemazón, de 3 y de 5 segundos.

Bought this following a horrendous holiday near Lake Garda where our resort was infested with mosquitoes. Used it this year in Mallorca (where the friendly bat population did a fantastic job of keeping mosquito numbers right down). The product works really well. Following a bite you switch it on, put it at the point of the bite, and press the button. A searing pinpoint of heat can be felt (uncomfortable but not unbearable) for a few seconds. Following that the itch stops almost immediately. One thing to note was that 3 of 4 of us found it excellent. My son complained that it made matters worse, but I believe he may have been bitten by ants rather than mosquitoes, and the tool is specifically designed to counter the proteins that mosquitoes “inject” when they bite.
