Perfect controller. Perfect Price.
I love this item. I've bought two,for me and my son and it works perfect on my Nintendo Wii. No issues. Buttons are responsive. I wish the wire was a little longer.

Plug-and-play
If you need an extra GameCube controller for Wii or GameCube and don’t want to pay $70+ for OEM, CirKa does the job for casual play and Smash with friends. At ∼$13 it’s a solid beater controller. For competitive Smash or daily use, most people still prefer official Nintendo pads.

Great replacement controller for GameCube gaming
Almost perfect replacement for an OEM gamecube controller. Slightly lighter feeling, and the joysticks feel a little more like plastic than the classic rubber feel, but functionally identical in how the buttons feel and press.

Avoid. Not worth the risk.
This isn't the cheapest gamecube controller out there, it's just the next step up, so although it had more than its share of bad reviews, I thought I'd give it a shot since some of the reviews made it sound decent enough. I ordered it new.Well, the first thing I noticed after taking it out of its brand new clam-shell packaging was that it was scuffed up. Like it had been dropped on a hard surface a few times or kicked. Not a great sign. A worse sign was when I noticed the "C" on the C-Stick was backwards. Somehow, and I cannot imagine how it happened, the C-Stick was installed upside down. You would think the tabs or whatever they used to insert the stick when installing it wouldn't match-up, but obviously it doesn't matter and it passed their "quality control." Second thing I noticed was the shoulder triggers. If you didn't press directly in the center of the trigger, they would go off their tracks (and not register as being pressed, I would find). When I started up a few games, I discovered more issues. When you pressed any face button it went down with a noticeable (and expected) sound of a button press, but that didn't mean anything. Even though the button would be depressed, you have to press down extra hard for it to register as actually being pressed. Annoying but manageable. To my surprise both analog sticks seemed to work fine for the games I was trying, where you would press hard in one direction or another to swing the camera around or run. Later I would plug the controller into my computer (with a 3-in-1 usb adapter I already owned), and through my configuration utility I found the upside-down C-Stick had a lean to it. It wasn't a problem with the RPG games I tried, however for something more sensitive like a FPS game or a flying game, that may have rendered the game effectively unplayable. The worst issue I discovered however (as all the other issues COULD be manageable with enough practice, patience and determination on your part), was the fact that the D-Pad simply didn't work right. Pressing Up on the pad worked, sometimes Left worked, Down worked occasionally if you hammered the direction and pressed as hard as you could, and Right simply didn't register at all.And on top of everything else, the cable was maybe 6 feet, being generous.I returned the controller within four days of receiving it. Based on some of the other reviews here, if you order one of these you may get one that has all its parts in working order, but it seems to be a crapshoot. The factory / home / whatever building in china these came out of (it did have "made in china" on the back) has to have no quality control. They must slap together the parts based on a diagram and ship them out. That's the only explanation I can think of for my experience and all the other reviews.

Worth the price
It works very well for the price. Just don't expect great performance. The analogue is pretty unusable when precision is required in games. Other than that it is a great little controller and works fine so long as you aren't trying to aim with it.

They function pretty well for knockoffs
I purchased two of these to replace Nintendo brand controllers that had finally kicked the bucket after living long, well-used lives. They function pretty well for knockoffs, that's for sure, but they don't last terribly long. As with all my off-brand controllers, I took them apart for quality inspection on receiving them. I'm quite experienced with disassembling gaming equipment.I was happy to find that there weren't any sharp points threatening to fray the cord where it connects inside the controller (that's a common issue with knock-offs; they don't properly sand the plastic after it's molded) but I reinforced where the plastic rubs on the wire with electrical tape anyways, just to be safe. Everything looked perfectly fine, but within about two months one of them began having the right shoulder trigger button fail on a regular basis. I cracked her open and cleaned the connections with surgical alcohol to clear any interference in the signal, but alas, it seems the static switch itself was just... dying. It still works well for any game that doesn't reliably need the right shoulder trigger button, but since it mostly gets used for Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers, that sadly makes it useless. The other controller is still holding up well. Now if ONLY I could tell them apart...

Great Buttons!
Love this controller! The buttons have more of a slight click, Which I find more satisfying then on a real gamecube controller. Great value considering what gamecube controllers cost these days. If you're looking for controllers for your gamecube setup, I highly recommend these as a cost effective solution that's just as reliable as Nintendo branded controllers, great buy!

Resistencia y calidad
