I got this to have WiFi in the outbuilding out the back of our house. I had a powerline adapter in there already, so I did have the internet, but only via the Ethernet port on the powerline adapter. This is no good for getting the internet on my phone when I’m in there. So I bought this to create a new WiFi hotspot in the outbuilding. It was easy to set up. If using an iPhone to set it up as I did, make sure you turn off ‘hide IP’, ‘private relay’ or whatever it is in your safari settings. You cannot connect to the ip address of this hub until it’s turned off. Or just use a laptop/PC to set it up. Once set up, this works great. It takes a minute or so for my phone to automatically connect to this WiFi hub from the one in my main house, as the outbuilding is just out of range of the house one. But other than that it works great. You can also use this to extend the reach of another WiFi signal. I did try this at first, but the outbuilding is just out of range so it didn’t work (the hub in the house is at the front, the outbuilding is out back), but at least you have this option if you’re able to use it. It would be useful in the house if you struggle to get WiFi in rooms furthest away from the hub.

Works well plugged directly into router with Ethernet cable (short one supplied). Easy to connect to.

Easy and cheap option for getting wifi in parts of a large house that sky and other providers were not able. Install a cable plug it in and go. Easy!! Good and stable Internet.

We bought this as a secondary router for our upstairs using ethernet in, and then WiFi out as our original router had really poor strength upstairs, I now just stay connected to this router throughout the whole house and have no issues. We're in a relatively small 2 story house but it's been great.

Its decent for the price TPlink are a good solid Internet spreader it has wireless and lan connection with decent range

Connected from our house via underground ethernet cable to garage/shed at back of garden & used as an access point for wifi & works fine within the garage/shed or while the roller shutter door is open then transmits outside better. Could do with stronger/more range as when I shut the Roller Shutter Garage Door, the signal is too weak to reach my Motorhome while parked 30 yards away. Suspect it's because we have it installed within our Insulated Steel & Aluminium skinned shed so not really the units fault - will most likely purchase an external (weatherproof) access point. Update March 2025 - Item stopped working so now need to buy a replacement.

Versand aus GB... darum war er auch doppel so teuer als Anbieter aus der EU! Rückversand auf eigene Kosten mit Zollpapiere und so weiter... ein Riesen Aufwand!!! Weiter ist ein GB Netzadapter dabei... Muss man sich extra einen EU Adapter 220V dazu bestellen! Auf den Warenversandwert nicht zumutbar!
