Easy to install, good sound dampening
Installed on a gaming keyboard (Redragon K585) but should work on most mechanical keyboards that accept swapping key caps. The noise reduction was noticeable. Key travel was of course slightly reduced, but was expected. No adverse gaming performance.

Good thickness, good sound dampening
I was worried these would be too thick and would have a detrimental impact on how far the keys can go down on my Wooting keyboard, but they actually feel pretty good, both for typing and gaming. They quiet the keys quite a bit. No complaints.

They were not as effective as I hoped and they changed the feel of the keys.
These O-rings saved my keyboard from getting trashed. They made my keyboard a bit quieter and softer to type on. However, they didn't dampen the sound as much as I hoped, and they changed the feel of the keys slightly. They are also a bit pricey.

Works quite well, within reason.
I am pretty happy with the results of these on my MX Brown keyboards. There were actually enough rings in one package to do my whole Tenkeyless board, as well as most of another Tenkeyless board, but I'm buying another pack to finish that one off as well as put them on my Vortex POK3R 60% board. As others have said, this doesn't completely silence the keys, but it probably does cut down on the noise by about 30%, and adds a different, more pleasant (to me) tone that's less 'clack' and more 'thunk'. When I showed a co-worker (who sometimes complains about how loud my keyboard is) the difference on the keyboard I wasn't able to fully outfit, she agreed that it was quieter, and wasn't able to hear my typing nearly as much from across the room. It does change the feel of typing a little, as there is a little bit of dampening at the end of the keystroke, but I also don't mind that, and in a way it almost makes the keystroke feel more solid to me. I'm also not having issues getting used to any shorter activation, either in gaming or typing. In any case, I am pretty happy with these things and ordered a second set, as I mentioned before. I also like that they included a cleaning cloth, just because it's nice to have them.

Very sturdy
There were a couple of key caps such as the backspace keycap that didn't have enough space for the whole thickness of the ring, due to the keycap stem being too close the inner wall. However, I was able to stretch the ring out, which allowed me to insert the ring deeper. The ring was stretched many times its size, but survived the process, while still being a soft material. This was my first time trying out these o rings, and I was very happy with it. They add a feeling of mushiess to the typing experience that many complained about, but this doesn't bother me at all. I love them primarily due to the fact that the rings decrease the key travel AFTER the acuation point, which is very helpful for mashing keys during a gameplay.

Soft touch, great sensations
Just installed those O-rings on an ErgoDox-EZ split-design keyboard. Indeed, coming from the laptop world, I am used to and very efficient with low-travel keyboards. This helps reducing the travel. As I do not bottom-up that much, the noise-reduction is perceptible but that's not the main feature for me. However, the feeling when bottoming up is great, its soft on your fingers. The installation is fairly easy, but you have lots of keycaps to remove... I also notices that for RGB Cherry switches, it reduces the intensity of the light a bit, but that's fine, you usually don't use RGB to locate your keys anyways...

Very Nice and preferred over silicone
These are really nice and do the job well. You do have to give them a bit of a stretch before applying them to your keycaps. They are nice and cushiony making for a nicer key press. They are American made and I love that. I had only one issue. They are packaged in a small ziploc baggy with the free cloth and in order to get to them you have to either pull them out from around the cloth or try to pull the cloth out without all of the little rubber rings going flying. There has to be a packaging solution that can alleviate this issue. I hope they find it soon before I need to mod my next keyboard.

A bit quieter, but biggest difference is in the feel
I have a CoolerMaster QuickFire XT (blue switches) and reckoned my keys were a little bit noisy considering my housemates were awoken when I started my homework in the morning. I decided to go with these O-rings as I quite like the chiclet keyboards on some laptops and feel like I can type very fast with them, so these "fat" rings (as opposed to the red "thin" rings) should do the trick. Installation was simple, albeit a bit tedious. I don't have a keycap puller so I fashioned one from a paper clip. (You should do the same instead of paying $6.99.) I initially only installed the O-rings on the 26 "letter" keys because I wasn't sure if I'd like them or not. Of course, as soon as I hit the space or wanted a capital letter the difference (in noise and feel) was massive, so I ended up putting the o-rings on all the "main" keys too (shift, enter, backspace, alt, etc.). I quite like the difference. It is noticeably quieter, although most definitely not silent. I would say the sound level is reduced 30%. But the biggest difference is the feel, as the travel is much shorter and the keys "bounce back" at the bottom of the stroke - as a result, my typing speed went up about 12 wpm. Overall, would recommend especially if you are wanting a change in the feel as well as the sound, but if your intention is only to reduce noise, these may not be the best solution. Still, a good thing to try before buying a new keyboard with different switches, however.

I have ordered a bunch of O-rings over the past few weeks to dampen my keycaps, looking for a good set that are the proper thickness and the correct hardness to dampen the sound. These are the ones you want don't buy the cheaper ones in higher quantities, they are too thin and soft to dampen anything.

i was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews stating that getting o-rings for a keyboard with clicky mx blues was a waste of time, but I tried these anyway. They make a huge difference! My keyboard is by no means silent (or even quiet, really), but it's *far* quieter than it was. The reduced travel is noticeable, so maybe consider the 0.2mm versions if that's a concern.

I prefer this Captain O-ring over: Refaxi 120Pcs Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampeners Dark Red for Cherry MX Keyboard Dampers It is quieter and softer. Expecting 30%-40% noise reduction.
